My Favourite Place
My favourite place is our granny and grandfather summer cottage, which is about 3,5 kilometres to our
house I come there so happy mood, because there is so fun to be. Cottage is sonny place that’s why there
is so warm (when sun is shining). Water is there midsummer lovely warm and there is sufficiently deep to
jump good speeds in to the water by our bay and speed may have because our bay is long. There are very
fun to calculate by dad surfboard in to the water. We turn it around then we let down by it slippery side in to
the water. Last summer we see crazy jumps and slides to water because there was a slipper competition of
Mäntylampi Competitors were me my sister Laura and my frinde Jarno. There is also very good
fishingplaces. But those positions I don’t tell because I keep that knowledge on my own. Granny and
grandfather cottage beside is other cottage that’s is my godmothers and her
family. Near cottage is a beavers casing, what grandfather says our “neighbour”. To cottage is me easy go
with my Suzuki Pv moped (when roads are closed) and that is very funny. Near the cottage is forest where I
and my dad are have be hunting I cant hunt now because I don’t have hunting card. But I have be with dad
when he hunt and he is have be hunt heathbirds, hazel grouses and capercaillies with our hunting dog
Saana. In winter, when is werry much snow can let down whit our big and black pulka sled in big hills what
is very funny. In to ice is fun to ski when is enough ice and snow on to the ice. Then I can also drive my dad
snowmobil on to ice. In winter is fun to jump off the cottage roof in to snowdrift. Near to cottage can make
wonderfulls snowcastles and snowcabins. Terrain is so good to make wonderfuls snowwars that some
children can only imagine that kind place. Granny and granfather cottage is have be visit my friend Jarno
and he is have be sleep there with me and dad we ski, go down from hill in black laplander`s sled and make
a pizza. Others my friends have been here: Timo,Ville,Jesse,Kalle,Jyri and Riku.

MY FAVOURITE PLACE: Raganu kalnas (Witches hill)

Our favourite place is the Witches hill in Juodkrante. There is walking path in forest
with a lot of wooden sculptures (witches, devils, dragons and so on). The sculptures are made by
folk stories. It is near our homes. The first sculptures were made in 1979 and we like that place from
early childhood. We love that place because there are a lot of old trees and the hill is very beautiful.
Wooden sculptures are very lovely too. Almost every week we go there and spend one or sometimes
two hours. That place like all tourists so you can’t be in this place alone, unless in winter or in night
time.

My favourite place is the Paimun Lake located in Neuquen Province, to 61 km of Junin de los Andes city,
where nowadays my home is. The first time that I went to that place, I went to the primary school, and when I
began the high school I made myself a girl's friend and I had the opportunity to pass my vacations with the
family of her.
I began this way to know, to walk and I found a favourite place.
It is my favourite place because there the lake and the plants, flowers, little birds are. There is a stick where I
usually go up myself to observe the wildlife of there, the noise of the lake is only listened, the birds, etc. Here
I can draw, to take out photos. I love because I can hear the nature. I go the times that it could travel and if I
can be every free day I make it.
My favourite place enjoys it with my friends and family, with view to the Lanin Volcano.

My favourite place
I have many favourite places. It depends what kind of mood I am. But one of the all is the “Nuokkari” it is the
place of young people where you can play pool and ping pong for example and meet friends or surf in the
net. I found it when my brother were there in work. I spent lots of time there because most of my friends are
there.
The second favourite place is our summer place in Koitere, it is big place and is very nice place where I can
fish, swim and go to the sauna. Koitere is a big famous lake in eastern Finland.
The third favourite place is my home because there is lots of things to do, I can go fishing, swimming, be with
my friends, listen to the music, watch television and important of all do my homeworks. The fourth favourite
place is the school because there I can meet all my friends and I can study new things about everything.

My favourite place is the beach which is located in a small
village in Sardinia, its name is “San Teodoro”. I found this
beach when I was a child and it was the first time I have been on
holiday in Sardinia. The name of the beach is “Cala Luna” and
immediately I liked it because it is a very calm beach and it isn’t
crowded, the sea is always calm, the water is transparent, and
there is always a light breeze! I go to Sardinia every summer
together with my parents and the first thing that I do is to go to
this beach! Here I made a lot of friends because there are many
boys and girls of my same age....The thing that I like best is to
go to the beach in the evening when there are few people, all is
silence and the only noise is that one of the waves;
I like spending the evening on the beach together with my friends
laughing and joking! But I ‘d rather go alone to the beach to
think and to reflect, it’s so exciting to do it hearing the sound of
the waves.

My favourite place is a tree. The tree is in the forest. I found the tree four or five years ago. I found it by
accident. My favourite place is peaceful and nice and that´s why I love it. I visit my favourite place every day.
I spend 10 – 15 minutes at a time there. I enjoy this place alone or with my dog. I think of my school day and
all nice things there.

Lachish Park is a beautiful park in our big city that characterize with a lot of building, and a lot of people.
Our developed city called: Ashdod.
In Lachish park many attractions, like: games for children, a little zoo, there is also a challenge park that have
climbing wall and a lot of enjoyment for children and even for adults.
You also can do picnic in the green part of the park, to rest, or just walk with a friend.
The name Lachish Park is in the name of Lachish stream. Lachish stream passes the park and the city to the
sea.The Lachish stream is very long, to such an extent that it starts in Jerusalem and end in Ashdod.
Near the park there are a lot of factories that pollute Lachish stream. In the past there were a lot of fish in
the stream. Today the water is dirty and I believe that there are hardly living animals in it.
I and all resident of Ashdod hope that the park will be saved, and our natural environment will remain green
and clean!

One of my favourite places to be is San Tiago, Mexico. I've only been there once before, but it's breathtaking
in its beauty and culture, and I can't wait to go back. San Tiago is a small village on the Western coast of
Mexico. My aunt owns a timeshare on an apartment by the ocean, and it's incredible. The ocean air blows in
through the porch door and into the living room. You can choose whether you want to swim in the pool or the
ocean (which is where you spend most of your time). In the morning, you can walk over to the bakery and
get fresh tortiallas for breakfast. At night, everyone meets at the town square for a bazaar and gelatis. But
the best part about San Tiago is how it's still so Mexican. You can go into so many of the big cities and
they're all Americanized. But San Tiago retains its small town beauty and charm. That's why I love San
Tiago.

Love River, which is just twelve kilometers long, flow through many districts like . . and so on.
Before it played an important role; now it becomes one of the best places for relaxation. Although it doesn’t
seem that important among the great rivers of Taiwan, to the local, it’s a symbol for them, history, romance,
culture and love
Love River once be polluted and people living there were always holding
their nose when they pass through. However, in recent years, the government
and citizens have joined together to clean up the river and it works. Now, along
the river bank, you can see parks, green lands, concert hall, coffee shops and
also couples sitting there, enjoying the beauty and nature vitality of Love River.
What’s more, with the approach of night, the lamps on the riverside go on,
giving a modern atmosphere.
For the above points, we regard Love River as our favorite place. To show
our love for it, we decide to go to pick up the rubbish, thrown on the ground and grass. We also hope that we
can do our teenager’s best to make our environment better and more beautiful.

Levi - My favorite place
My favorite place in Finland is probably Levi. Levi is a village and a recreation center in Lapland. I?ve only
been there once, but it was such a beautiful place!! In my opinion, it is a pretty small town, but it?s popular,
especially in the winter. There are lots of tourists there, well there were many when I was there. There was
lots of snow everywhere, and the snow sparkled in the light, which is very pretty. The thing that I?ll
remember is that when it got dark, it was so beautiful to look out the window or go outside and look at the
stars. If you were lucky, you might have seen the northern lights. They are very colorful and more beautiful
than stars or shooting stars. I was one of the lucky ones because I saw the northern lights. It was a very
breathtaking moment, for me.

Levi is mostly a place to go downhill skiing and snowboarding, but you can also go cross-country skiing, and
after the hills have been closed, you can go sledding on them! Of course there are lots of other things to do
there, but we went there on a skiing trip. So all I did was go downhill skiing, snowboarding, sledding and
cross country skiing. I guess that?s a lot of things to do, but sometimes I actually felt a little bored. But I still
had lots of fun!
The restaurants there aren?t that bad either. Since there are lots of reindeer there, that is what they eat very
often. When we went to a restaurant, I had some and it was very delicious. The only thing that I don?t like
about Lapland so much is that sometimes it gets a little too cold there, for me. At least on the higher skiing
hills, because it?s very windy up there! So my fingers and toes practically froze up there!
Luckily, though, our lodge was very close, so you could walk there. The wooden lodges were so cute! And
they were much bigger than I thought that they would be. Of course there were normal hotels there too, but I
think that it?s so much better to stay at a wooden lodge, than a small and cramped hotel room, because in
the lodges, there is more room, and there?s even a sauna. It was very nice to go inside, drink hot chocolate
or tea, and then go to the sauna, after skiing and snowboarding, or whatever we had been doing.
The whole trip there only lasted a week, but it was definitely a wonderful experience! We don?t have time to
go there this winter, but I really would like to go there again. It was just a place that I won?t forget, because it
was so beautiful and because I had so much fun there!

My favourite place is a big sandstone cliff in the forest of Reinhausen near Goettingen.
It’s a place were I can sit and think about many things or simply relax.
I found this place when I was much younger, I walked through the forest
and climbed up a hill. There I found it on the other side of the high cliff .
It’s a very quiet place because the main footpath is far away. In the summer it’s like an
execrated place just for myself, because I often see deer and butterflies.
I always walked there alone, I never talked with anyone about it

1. My favourite place is the garden.It is located near my home in Kaoshiung .I go there for one or
two hour twice a week .Usually I go to the garden with my family,sometimes alone.The activity I
usually do there is reading the book and riding the bicycle.I like to go there very much.
2. My favorite place is Tarogo Gorge, which is located in Taitung
when I was in juor high school,our class had a trip there and ,
the air was fresh there, so I can't forget the beautiful view of Tarogo Gorge.
3. My favorite place is Chichi,located in Kaoshiung. It is far from my home,so I need to spend 20-
30 minutes. When I was eight years old, my parents brought me there for many times. Therefore,
I have a lot of good memories over there. Besides, there is a beautiful beach. But not I can visit
there once in a year , and usually spend whole day.I like to go there with my friends and family.
4. My favourite is Ho-huan Mountain, located at Nan-tou County.
When I was thirteen, my parents brought me to visit there.
The beautiful landscape of the snow made it become my favourite place.
Even though I only went there once, I spent all the day enjoying myself very much there. In
particular, I enjoy this place with my family.
5. My favorite place is my senior high school. It's in Kaohsiung,and it's far from my home. When I
was 16 years old, I enter to my favourite place "Feng-Hsin Senior High School" to study my
senior lessons.I go there every day, and I spend ten hours in FHSH.I enjoy the place with my
classmates,friends,and teachers ect. Why my school can be my favorite place? Because it is
very beautiful, big,and green italy. It has kind teachers and great friends. They make me happy .
6. My favorite place is I-Lan. It is located in the eastern part of Taiwan and far from my home.
When I graduated from junior high school,my parent brought me to visit there .The scenery
attracted me and the air was fresh there.I only visited there once ,because it needs to take four or
five hours to reach there. I enjoy going there with my family

I found it when I was 15 years old with my parents and their friend's familly. We visit here
sometimes and we always spend all night there.
Because it is in the night ,the sky is full of stars.
How beautiful it is! I enjoy there with many other people.
8. My favorite place is Liufu Animal Zoo, located in Hsinchu.
It is in the northern part of Taiwan. It's far from my home.
I find the place when I was an elementry school student, and I had great fun there, so I like the
place very much. I went there only once, and I spent 5 hours to be there,and I enjoyed it with my
classmates together

It is far from my home. When I was 4th grader, my brother and I found the park. I like here
beacaus it is very beautyful.
10. MY favorite place is Mountain Ali.
It is lacated in Chia-yi County in the southern part of Taiwan, and it is a little far from my
hometown because I live in Kaohsiung. I've been there for several times. The first time I have
been there is when I was 3 graders. I always went there with my parents. The air there is very
clear and no pollution. I really like there and enjoy the beautiful place there.
11. My favorite place is Tan-Shui, located in the norther part of Taiwan.
It is far from my home.
I find it for the first time during my graduation trip of Elematry school.
I like the food and the beautiful scenery there.
I seldom visit this place because I have to spend five hours to reach there. I enjoy visiting it with
friends or family.

parents sometimes took me to the place when I was a little girl.I have many great memories in
the place.I usually go there twice a year,and spend all day walking on the beach.The reason why I
like Kenting so much is beacuse I can enjoy going there with my family and good friends.
13. My fevorite place is MountainBig Gangshan, located in the southern part of Taiwan. This is
beacuse it is near my hometown!!
It is in Kaohsiung County in Taiwan. It is so near to my home, which only takes just 10 minute
from my home to there !!
The first time when I went there,I was just 8 years old. No I go there once in a year. I spant 2
hours a time. I enjoy go there with my parents!
14. My favorite place is my Grandmom's home.
It is locted in Tainan, located in the southern part of Taiwan.
I grew up there, so I had found it for seventeen years.
I have many great childhood memory in my Grandmom's home.

I visit there twice a week and I spend two days there every time.

15. My favorite place Liou-He Night Market, located in Kaohsiung City. It's about one hour of ride
from my home.
When I was little, my parents took me there because of its delicious food. I do not visit this place
very often, probably about once a year. I spend about two or three hours in this place. I like to go
there with my family or friends.
16. My favorite place is Tarogo Gorge. This place is located in Hua-lien. It
is a little far from my home. In my childhood, my parants took my sister,brother and me to visit
there. The air was very fresh and the water was very clean. By the way, there are many animals
there.I enjoyed this place together with other people. I have been there for twice.
17. My favourite place is Kenting, located in the southern part of Taiwan. Ilike Kenting so much
because the sea is so beautiful there.
But it is a pity that I do not often visit Kenting now.
18. My favorite place is I-Lan.
It's in the North of Taiwan, and it's a long way from my home because I live in the South. It
needs to take 2 or 3 hours there. When I was 14 years old, my parents took me there.I like there
because in my eye, the senery is the most beautiful in Taiwan I have ever seen.
19. My favourite is Chi-chin. It's in Kaohsiung. And it's far from my home.
I found it two yares ago. I went there half a year ago.And I spend two hours.I enjoy there with
my friends.

My favorite place in a camping site in Varredes in Seine et Marne , it is near my home about one hour by car.I have
been to this camping site since I was four years old .It is my mother and my aunts who have found this camping site
.Then my family have bought two mobil home , three tents and one ground in this camping site .This camping site is my
favorite place because ,I am with my cousins and I go to the camping site swimming pool every day with my family and
my friends .Then I do aquagym volley ball , tennis, badminton , petanque , baby foot and flipper . It is holidays to
camping site , there are many many activities . This years I have stayed one month in the camping site but I can stay
how much I want because we have one ground in this camping site .I enjoy this place with other people ,in the camping
site . I known everybody. I like this camping site because everybody knows each others . The people are very nice .
Because there are on holiday. In addition , the camping organize every Saturday evening a party dancing , I find it very
good to have fun .To finish in the camping site there is a good atmosphere.

My Favourite Place
Hello,
My favorite place is Lazienki Park in Warsaw. It is not too far to walk from
the city center. The park originally was a Royal Palace’s park. The palace and the
other buildings in the park where mostly built in the 18 th century. I like this
place, because it has wide lanes overshadowed by trees, small lakes and
sculptures. When there is a hot summer day you can walk around the trees, see
the animals and sit on a bench. This park is suitable for families and it’s better to
spend the spare time together to enjoy the beauty of this place. One of the
attractions is a theatre the stage of which is built in one of the lakes, while the
audience’s seats on the shore. It’s unforgettable experience to see the
performance on this stage.

My Favorite Place
KZ01
I live in Kazakhstan, Ust-Kamenogorsk. The city is situated next to the Altai Mountains where the Ulba River
flows into the Irtish River. Ust-Kamenogorsk is not big, but in spite of this, we have many wonderful places.
The population of our city is over 330,000 people. And every person has his own favorite place, where he
can relax and dream. Many men, many mind.
As for me the most wonderful place in my city is Kirov Park. It is the
only place in Ust-Kamenogorsk, where there is the interaction of two
cultures – Kazakh and Russian.
Near the main entrance there is a museum of “National Russian
village” where all the types of national Russian design of architecture
of XVIII century are collected.
Then there is a long circle
area, where people can
relaxed and enjoy splendid

view of remarkable grass-plot with many different types of flowers. In the centre of the park there is a statue
of Kirov. He played an important role in life of our city.
Next there is an Orthodox chapel. This place is very exciting for me because I am a religious person so this
land is holy for me.
More over there is an incredible landscape design with small ponds and funny bridges. Near the entrance
there are figures of characters of Russian and Kazakh fairytales.
Many people take pictures with them because they are really cute. More over Kirov Park is the place where
teenagers and city dwellers like to meet and walk. I assure you, that you will never find so marvelous,
outstanding, splendid, magnificent place in our town, like Kirov Park. But it is only my opinion.

The mega Cave
It is built at the measurements of 924 metres of ground and surrounded by a
beautiful view.
Inside the cave there is a picture of the mother of God, which is made out of
candle wax, it has lovely perfumes smells from the Saind Luka.

My favourite place !!
Kalavrita is my favourite place because it makes me feel fresh, calm,
full of life and the nature is incredible.The green leaces, trees ,rocks
and lovely monuments are very lively.But what finishes everythink
is the spacial sky tops it off!!!!
I love to spend my time at this place by myself ,or whith some friend
because it makes me feel free and independent!!!
I can remember the first time I went there ,a spend four hours ,and I
hope to go there again .
Qeshm is a large island in the Persian Gulf. It is a far of my home. It is twice the size of the country Bahrain!
I traveled to Qeshm in the past summer for 2 weeks. It has many mountains and the lands beside the water
are rocky. The village left is very beautiful and has great views. I don't visit this place, because it is far. I
enjoyed this place whit my family so much.
SHABNAM ARABZADEH
It is Ab Pari waterfall. It is in north of Iran and it's far from my home. I heard from some people about it. I
found in this summer. It has comforting nature and its small stones that the water is flowing on them. I
often visit this place every summer. I spend 2 hours there.I sometimes enjoy this place alone and
sometimes with other people.

My favorite place is Elgoli Park in Tabriz .It is far from my home. When I went to Tabriz in the spring I saw
this place. This park is look like the entire park, but I think this park is the most beautiful among the entire
park in Iran. When I go to Tabriz I can visit this place .I spend an hour with all of my family in the park and
I have very good time when I'm in this park.

Yesterday I was looking at the calendar. I remembered the travel to the north of Iran that I went there with
my family. We usually go there twice a month. It was very interesting for me.
I had a wonderful time at summer travel. I have swimming every morning in the Caspian Sea. I really like

My favorite place is Baghe eram or Eram garden. I like it very much because it is so beautiful. It is for many
years ago. It's in Shiraz. I like Shiraz very much, too. It's very beautiful in spring. It has some beautiful

Last year my family and I went to the Desert. It is in the west of Iran .The sky was shinny because it was
full of stares and the weather was very cool. All of them make it as my favorite place I love that place
because when I am there I feel happy I stayed there for about three days

My favourite place is a forest. It’s located very near my house. I found it when I played with my friends. I can be there
alone when I’m mad or when I do something bad I go there and hide. I spend lots of time there 1-2 hours. I visit it every
other week. I like to be there with my friends because we love forest.

My favourite place is Ähtäri, which is the first natural zoo in Finland. The first animal,a moose, came there in the year
1973.
There are lots of different animals: deer, reindeer, snow leopards, lynxes, telling parrots, bears, owls and more
interesting animals. I remember how mother and cub bear played with each other. It seemed so cute. That is the reason
why I liked to be there. I like animals and there I could see them in their own places, which is as if where they really
lived in the forest.
I only have one problem with it: Ähtäri is too far away from my home. I have visited it 3 times. I was with my family.
But when we go there, we spend almost the whole day there. And I always enjoy every time, when I am there with
animals and my family.

My father owns a little area of forest. My father inherited the forest area, when my grandmother died a few years ago.
The forest area is about 10 kilometers from my home.
In the forest, there’s a little hill. That hill is my favourite place. The hill has been my favourite place since I learned to
walk. The hill isn’t high, but it is that high that you can see far from the top of the hill. The hill has been my favourite
place since I learned to walk. You see only forest around, because the hill is surrounded by a forest.
There grow firs, birches and pine-trees around the hill. They are all young, because all trees were chopped down 20
years ago. Trees are almost three meters high, but they grow fast. When we thin out the young forest, then trees get
more water and nutrients and they grow faster. We’ve planted some new pine-trees, in places where nothing grows.
We have made a fire on the hill and we’ve roasted some sausages there. It is a perfect place to have a picnic.We visit it
nearly once a week.
In autumn and in winter we go there more often, because we hunt some hares and birds, black grouses, for example.

My favourite place is a playground. It is near my home and I can see it from our living-room. The playground is
medium-sized. There grows up grass and some trees. Every day we spend about twenty minutes with my dogs in the
playground, because there are many tasks which we can practise. My dogs can jump over a bench, walk on a table,
climp up and down stairs and find some objects. I can also educate my dogs. There are often no other people in a
playground. Some people don´t like dogs, particulary if they are free. My dogs are very obedient and they often run
free. That makes them happy. I can set my dogs free without having to control the district. That is why I like the
playground so much. I don´t go there with my frends, only with my dogs.
I found my favourite place last spring when snow has melted. I was walking past the playground, I saw it and went to
look at it. After that we have gone to the playground almost every day. We don´t go there when it rains or when there is
a thunderstorm.
My dogs also love this place. They know when we are going there. Then they start dragging because they want to be
there quickly.

My favourite place, or better said one of them, is Suomenlinna, a seafortress built during the Swedish rule, in the middle
of 18 th century. That is maybe better known as “Sveaborg”. It’s quite far from my home, on the sea, in front of Helsinki,
our capital.
So the distance between my home and Suomenlinna is about six hundred kilometers.
I visited it for the first time last summer when we (I, my godmother and my brother) made a trip there. We ate
sandwiches and salad and walked on the ruins. There were lots of dark tunnels and chambers to explore. We had a great
time!

My favourite place is my dad´s domicile in a little village called Koli. It´s a big farm, but there aren´t other animals than
dogs anymore. Koli is a bit like a village in the middle of nowhere. Still, I like it very much, because it´s quite peaceful
and so close to nature. Nowadays it´s a pretty popular tourist attraction, but I don´t mind that at all. On the contrary; it´s
nice to have some life there too.. ☺
There are many sports and strolling facilities in Koli. I don´t care so much about them, but I like jogging in forests and
cykling around the countryside. I´ve been there many times with my friends and we´ve always had such a good time,
even if we haven´t done anything especial. I´m a very social person, but I guess I could be there a few weeks all
alone.In the summer I just love to relax and go to the beach to sunbathe... In the winter I might go downhill racing or
snowmobiling.I could never move there, because it´s too small a place for me, but in a small quantities I like it very
much ;) I often go there at weekends or in longer holidays.

built it and there is so silent. There I can relax. I visit it every day, because it is so near my home. I’m there about 1-2

MY FAVOURITE PLACE: The TEMPLE IN THE SEA

On the west coast of Trinidad on the horizon sits a colossal temple in the sea. It is located
along the Old Waterloo Road which are lined with stately palm trees. It was started by
Siewdass Sadho and continued by Caroni Limited. It is mainly surrounded by lush, green,
grass and tall shady trees. It is my favourite place because while you sit: cool, relaxing breeze
fills the atmosphere. My friends and I go and play in the nearby park every evening which
greets you before you enter the temple. We even watch the golden sunset as it disappears
only to be there tomorrow.
The temple is decorated with Hindu murties and gives me the feeling of safety. Surrounded by
the salty brown waters of the sea, gulls squawk loudly in the air. The temple by the sea is
visited by many tourists from near and distant places. Sometimes people come to say prayers
to their Gods for one reason or another.
I love this place very much and I am very elated when I see new faces enjoying its
tremendous beauty. I would like to see you there and maybe even we can even play a game
and watch as the glorious sun waves us good bye. It is indeed the best place in the world.

My Favorite place
There are many places I like to visit, but my favorite place is the barn where I ride my horse.
The barn is located across the street from my house, close enough that I can walk there. I
found this place about two years ago and have been riding there ever since. I visit the barn
almost every day of the week. I often take three riding lessons a week and the other days I
ride on my own or spend time with my friends. On weekends we usually go to horse shows
where I compete against other girls my age. Some of my best friends are at the barn including
my riding instructor Stacey. I share this place with many people. We all share the same love
for the barn. Whether we are riding or just talking about horses we are always having fun and
working hard. I have had many great memories with my horse and friends at the barn. This is
why my favorite place is the horse barn.

We want to tell you about our favorite place that we go to visit it every
weekend.
The name of the place is: park hei.
First of all we want to tell you why we like this park and why it's so
special for us.
In this park, group of children and adults play "frizbi". Frizbi is a
game that his purposes are: to throw some plate from plastic to each
other that stand around and when one of the people throw the plate to
you, cutch it!
We like frizbi because we like games like that, we like to do sport and
to play with our good friends.
Believe it or not we knew this game not very long time ago.
I think that frizbi is very funny and interesting game, we so like it! To
cut a long storey short we like to play it and we hope that you will try
to play frizbi. We are sure that if you will do it you will like it.

My favourite place is a stud. This place is very beautiful and has a lot of horses.
This stud is near Vilnius, the place where I live. It takes thirty minutes to go there by
car. It is not very far from my home. It is in the suburb of Vilnius, in Riese.
My dad showed that place for me.
I like this place very much, because I like horses. I feel happy when I ride a horse.
My family often goes with me to the stud and sometimes they ride horses with me,
too. Then I feel happier. We often go there on Saturdays and spend there an hour or
more.
This Saturday our ENO teacher organized the excursion to the stud together with
some students of our school, my sister and my dad were there, too. We hired two
horses. One was small. Her name is Klumpe. She was calm. Her breed is Zemaituku.
The bigger one was bloodstock palfrey. She was quicker. Later we rode a pony. Her
name is Pupa. It is a white pony, whose owner is 7years old girl and she can jump
over the fence! Later we saw advanced riders who were jumping over the high
fences. It was amazing!
The day was fantastic, because I was with my family, my friends were together
with me and the weather was fine!
I would like to have the horse at home!

Cheile Babei
The place named Cheile Babei is an astonishing “neck of the woods” that is placed in
the Poienii valley at the border between two county’s, Salaj and Maramures. Almost all
summer long (especially)I wonder around either with my friends and many times alone, for
peace and reflection, something every body needs at times, including my self.
When visiting this places you can almost “heave” the serenity, the wild birds flying
around (prey birds), the sound of the wind gently touching the trees, and your own thoughts
almost making noise.
There is a clear water fountain that oxygenates in the calcareous mountain, and never
dived even to this point in time “the menthol…”.The seniors of the village are saying that the
cave in place was a “safety her use” for the “bad men” and his family.
I personally never got the daring to make it over just because I did not have the necessary
equipment…however one day I will make it…I promise it to my self. At the end I want to say
that I will, eventually bring you all over and sit around the little tables enjoy the nature as it
should be done more often cook some com on the cob with you all my friends, maybe make a
little lire that we can sit around and talk about everything, anything, be friends the way we
should…and then drink some cold fresh mountain water
It is wonderful, let’s visit it soon…

a fantastic, timeless forest. The tree had thick, gnarled branches and in its hollows black, bushytailed

After contemplating the impressive oak, I made my way into the woods were I came across a trail, a
trail that split in countless directions, like the arms of a giant octopus. Where should I go now?

My beloved little haven, a place one could only find in paradise, is the botanical garden in Iasi.
Every June brings with it an explosion of enchanting colours, a myriad of blooming roses that
symbolise the rebirth of this marvellous garden. Countless types of flowers are a delight for the
numerous visitors, who simply cannot get enough of watching the splendid plants. A whole day
would not be offer sufficient time to enjoy the vast space and the wonderful forest that make up this

It’s in the Western Mountains but I am not quite sure where. Walking along the river I came across
an amazing 9 meter tall waterfall. I was stood in stare as the water fell on the moss covered rocks.
The fresh air, the scent of moist grass and of wild flowers and the playful fish visible in the clear
water were all parts of this beautiful scenery. (Nedelcu Ioana, 9th E)
I love Bran because it is a gorgeous, almost magical land, full of green and rustic houses built in the
unmistakeable Transylvanian style. The castle of Vlad Tepes quietly watches over the town,
reminding people of the famous legend of the ruler. Sometimes, during the clear summer nights,
packs of wolves gather in the forests and howl at the full moon. With natural fear, but indelible
curiosity I set off for one of my midnight strolls.
I hold Bran very close to my heart due to that something special that sets it apart from all other
places I know. It’s a town where Romanian tradition and Western influences perfectly blend.

I have never been in a more fascinating place than Tabacarie Park at dusk, when the trembling
waves of the lake come together with the sun’s last rays. A true spectacle of nature that is bound to
leave people with impressive memories. In the winter, this place seems a fairy tale realm. Covered

in pure, white snow, with sparkling little lights that appear as fallen stars, the park resembles a

MY FAVOURITE PLACE
Youth and students are likely to have the opportunity to visit many places of interest to study
both natural and physical things. Some of these natural and physical places may include Botifalls,
Aburi Botanical Gardens, the Canopy Walkway at the Kakum National Park just to mention a few.
Among the places stated above, we have chosen no other place than a mini forest or woodlot as our
favorite place in our school. This is because we spend most of our days and time in school. This
favorite place of ours is located at our school at the entrance before you enter the compound or
precisely adjacent to the main school administration block at Adenta, a suburb of Accra. We all got
to know this place when we were admitted to pursue our various courses in West Africa Secondary
School.
What attracted us most is the way and manner the place is maintained. It is kept clean and one can
really enjoy the fresh air under it. This makes the place conducive for learning. We also like this
place because of the sweet scent of the flowers and the beauty of the flowers. We also like the place
because of the different types or species of birds that are found in this mini grassland. This
grassland is also used by the school cadet for their training. We also like the place because of the
beauty of the vegetation and the big trees found in it .
We visit this many woodlot almost everyday with the exception of the weekend and also during
lessons when we are asked to go as an excursion to look at the trees and the vegetation. We usually
spend about one hour during our own leisure time and 40 minutes during lessons on a visit there.

MUSEUM.
The Lahore museum is an important place where works of art ,& other objects of historical value are
kept and displayed.It is an old imposing building with a high ceiling.The incharge of the museum is called
Curator.Our well-informed teacher look us round different sections of the beautiful museum.There were neatly
arranged glass-cases which displayed ancient swords,daggers,garments,ornaments,coins,bow & arrows.There were
tags with brief descriptions on most of the items on display.There were paintings,pictures & clay models of ancient
craftsmanship.The huge statue of queen Victoria lay in one room of the museum.There were old manuscripts of the
Holy Quran in one room.Full size doors& frames with primitive fittings were specimens of rare wood work
craftsmanship.The impressive display in the museum gave us a wealth of information & insight.It was a
rewarding visit indeed.

My favourite place is Fethard in Wexford Ireland.It is a very beautiful place.It is full of
breathtaking rural Irish beauty but it also has magnificent marine beauty also.It has many
perfect beaches which are pollution free unlike many beaches in Ireland today.It is home to
the oldest lighthouse in Europe and one of the oldest functioning lighthouses in Europe.It is a
magnificent tourist spot as many facilities are closley located.Waterford a major Irish city is
only a 10 minute ride on a ferry where there is lots to see and do.The area is steeped in Irish
history from the many risings rebellions and plantations which took place throughout the
course of Irish History.There is a huge problem however with the rising amount of tourists in
the area there has been a huge rise in litter and holiday homes which is causing huge
problems in the area but I still think it is very beautiful and is worth a visit if you are ever in
Ireland.

An awesome place
For most people this is only a beach, but for me it is much more than that. This is the
perfec place! The breeze of the sea, the vegetation, sand and a beautiful landscape.
The sunset is wonderful!
By looking at a place like this you feel how important it is to preserve the environment.

If you preserve it today, it means that tomorrow people will continue having lovely and
peaceful places like this one. People shouldn´t destroy it. I am sad when I think that
there are people who cut trees down; pollute air; throw rubbish outside the rubbish bin;
etc… People should respect nature and conserve it.
Brazil is a tropical country and we have a lot of beaches like this one. I live one hour far
from the beach and I like the seashore very much.

THE MOON OR THE MUDDY VOLCANOES/RO14
Between Berca and Arbanasi, about 30 km from Buzau, we come across one of the best
known geological reserves of Romania, the Muddy Volcanoes. After crossing a concrete bridge
over the Buzau river, we enter the small town of Berca,then we come across a billboard which
guides us towards "Piclele mici." We leave the car here and after having climbed for a while, a
strange landscape opens in front of our eyes: a large overflow of mud over slopes and
hollows. These formations called by the local people "picle" are known under the name of the
"muddy volcanoes." The name of "muddy" is quite clear, but why "volcanoes?" Purely and
simply because of their cone-shaped form with a crater in the middle. In the case of the real
volcanoes, the lava comes through the volcanic horn from a hot magma cradle, it gets out
through the crater and flows over the slopes turning solid. The muddy volcanoes have been
formed through a similar process with the only difference that here the lava has been replaced
by mud. However, the real difference is a geological one: the lava was prepared in the telluric
depth of the planet where temperatures rise to several thousand degrees, where the metals
are melted and where the engines that create the mountains roll on , producing devastating
earthquakes and moving the continents. The real volcanoes belong to the kingdom of Pluto the
Hot and volcanologists are in charge of their study.
The muddy volcanoes originate in the layer closer to the surface of the earth crust. The gas
associated to the crude deposits in the sedimentary rocks, make their way towards the surface
through clefts, reach the underground water layer, where they also involve the waters in their
movement and on their way upwards, they also wash the clay and the other rock fragments
they might meet with. Since mud cannot exist without water, the muddy volcanoes are
affiliated to Neptun's kingdom and it is the oilmen and hydrologists who are dealing with them.
But let's better have a look at the show put up at the surface. The volcanoes cones are not
higher than 5-6 meters and the mud drops out on the slightly inclined slopes. A varied range
of colours appears in front of our eyes. We discover the beauty of the mud which displays
greyish and brown colours of a great variety and refinement. The chocolate borders of the
crater are adorned with the white crust of crystallized salt and with belts of yellow sulphur
mud, ochre or a shining black. The pressure of the derrick gas defeats with great difficulty the
viscous liquid which swells out, forms a hemisphere, splits and wearily falls down with a sigh
into the boiling cauldron. If we bring a lit match closer to them a blue flame will braze out
because the bubbles are mostly made of methane. At the foot of the small volcanoes, the mud
torrents have dried up acquiring shapes that remind the bark of the old trees and the honey
comb.
After having had a glimpse of "Piclele Mici" is it worth going to visit "Piclele Mari" as well,
situated in their immediate neighbourhood. Here, the cones are less striking, in exchange the
cauldrons are larger recalling the form of the Hawaii volcanoes. Why do the muddy volcanoes
exist only here and not anywhere else, there where crude deposits are found as well? The
explanation should be sought in the archeological structure of the Eastern Carpathians. As is
known, the Eastern Carpathians are formed of extended peaks oriented towards the northsouth,
separated among them by depressions, from the Bucovina hills to the chain of volcano
mountains. But this is only the tangible part of the iceberg because in the depth the same
structure of extended compartments separated by deep faults is observed. One of them is the
Bisoca fault, a giant, hundreds of km long cleft. The latter joins the superficial level of the
geological structures where the crude and gas ores that emerge to the surface are to

e found. A dry emanation of natural gas is located in the vicinity, at Andreiasu, where another
geological monument "The Unextinguished Fires" is situated. This faul is an extension of the
hypocentral seismic zone of Vrancei Mountains, which actually terrorizes us.In spite of the big
distance from our town, CONSTANTA, we visit this place more dates, and we are fascinated
about the "selenar" landscape.
Damavand City, The Place We Live In
Damavand town is located in geographical position of 52 degrees and 4 minutes of east longitude,
and 35 degrees and 42 minutes of north latitude, and in southern front of mythical and fabulous
Damavand mountain, and in 60 kms of east of Tehran City, between the Tehran and Firoozooh, and
near the Tehran – Firoozkooh – Mazanderan road.
In the north of the province is located Mazanderan State, in the east, is located Firoozkooh, in the
south, is located Semnan State and Pakdasht town and in west of region is located Lavasanat and
Tehran.
Damavand's population is about 85219 persons that 95 percents of them are Muslims and
remnants of them are Christian and Jewish minorities.
Preponderantly, the people language of this region is Farsi and can observe mixture of regional
accents. For locating in south foothill of Alborz range of mountains with 3580 meters height, and
southern parallel range of mountains that is ranged from east to west, and finally to Iran central
desert with 822 meters height, Damavand has mountainous clement weather.

The surface of Damavand is bestrewed with continuous mountains and the existence of green
valleys with pleasant weather and many sources of water, is caused to establishment of population
from ten thousands year ago. In summer in this place observe the culture of summering and
wintering. The variety of weather and plant cover and agriculture crops is obtained conditions that
allow to sow cold crops with warm crops beside folds and hives.

We could have come with different places but we thought of looking at our favourite place
within our school.
We love our playfield because we can play with friends. It has nice green lawn and some trees
for shade. You can watch everyone, nice sight to see other pupils playing cricket, other rugby,
other sit in small groups talking and a loner there and here.
It is really a nice place to be especially in summer when the environment is green and the air
smells fresh, tree with green leaves and flowers blooming, jacaranda adds a lavender fill to the
atmosphere. God you blessed us with this we are seeing now, we are so grateful and thankful
to. Help us conserve the beauty you have given us and continue to fellowship with you.

My Favourite Place
My favourite place is my grandparents'garden. It is located in Ukraine, in the village of Voloca,
not far from Cernauti.
I found it when I was little. In fact, my grandparents' house was my birthplace.
Harmony, silence, peace...These things make this garden my favourite place. I visit it about
twice a year. Every time I go there I stay about two or three weeks.
I enjoy this place with my family, my grandparents, my cousins...
I really like this place!

Is this leafy forest. It is in Lipno. It is near my house. It is a wonderful place. This forest is
very beautiful. There is something strange and mysterious in it what attracts me to it. There
are many sorts of trees, plants and many sorts of birds. The most beautiful season is autumn,
when one can find wonderful leaves with different colours and shapes. I drive there in every
weekend. I spend there several hours, walking about and breathing with fresh air. Most often
I ride there on my bicycle, then I can meditate and have a rest but sometimes I go with my
best colleagues and then we walk about and we talk.

My place
Virje, that's the place in Croatia where I live 14 years. Virje is the bigest vilage in Croatia. That's
very nice vilage. My place has got almost 7 thausend people. Virje has got a lot of shops and some
cake shops. That's has got beatiful Parks and environment. We new school hall. We have beatiful
playgraund around the school. Virje is the beatifulst vilage in Croatia and because that I love him
very much.

My favourite place is a pet-home.
I like pet-home because there are dear animals and people. In pethome
there are different animals, many of which are: forsaken, fierce,
pye-dog and tear etc. Next to pet-home is very big forest. There we
are going garland with dogs.
Next to this old building base will be new pet-home. We are going to the pet-home every week. Pethome
is in Dubravka - part of our capital city Bratislava.
We are travelling there long time but it repays.
Picture number one is construction new pet-home. He is in
advanced conditions.
But missing there: heating, coat of paint, light, electricity.
Every animal had own cot. This pet-home will be biggest as
old pet-home. Picture number two is pet-home from the inside.
Across pet-home is big corridor. Next pet-home will be
corridor at paddock. There can animals run, play and train.
Over there many trees, stones and river because were not be
thirst. This dog is very nice. Because is happy. Very dear
people adaptated him.
He was at pet-home for two years.
Good example of humanity are people which adapted
female dog.
She was at horrible condition because of her dispose of
the car during drive.
It is horrible how people conduct animals. “Liberty for
animals” give her at pet-home and treat her legs because
he had broken legs. There was no money for operation.
But good people pay operation and dog adaptation.
Every year come true collection for safe animals lives.
We help to collect. Money which we collect sends at collection for building new pet-home.
