Woodstock’s Maneen signs with Reinhardt
FROM STAFF REPORTS
Richard Maneen, of Woodstock, signed a letter of intent
to attend Reinhardt University in the fall and play
lacrosse for the Eagles in the spring of 2012.
Maneen, a 5-foot-8, 140-pound attackman, played his
prep career at Woodstock High School, lettering for three
seasons under the direction of head coach Josh Sailers.
He currently is playing on one of the LB3 South Lacrosse
Club’s travel squads.
“I heard that the academics are excellent here,” Maneen
said of Reinhardt. “I know some people who went here as
well, and they said that it's a great school. I came here to
further my lacrosse career and help the team improve.
I just fell in love with the school.”
Maneen, the son of Richard and Celeste Maneen, was
also considering NCAA Division II Coker College,
NCAA Division III Birmingham-Southern College and
NAIA members Tennessee Wesleyan College and Southern
Virginia University before deciding on Reinhardt.
Crawford promoted to assistant athletic director

Pannell inherits an Eagle’s
program which fielded only
sophomores and freshmen in
2011, posting a 3-12 overall
record and 1-3 in conference play.
RU opened the season strong,
winning three of its first
five games before dropping
10-straight to end the year.
