JUD MILLHON
1951 1st-team
All-America
Millhon had a senior
season that stacks up
against anyone’s, even
more than 60 years later.
He scored a school-record
556 points and grabbed
351 rebounds, and his
averages of 25.3 points
and 16.0 rebounds per
game ranked fifth and
fourth respectively among
small-college players.
His 489 rebounds during
his sophomore season
established school and
Ohio Athletic Conference
records that still stand. Millhon finished his Bishop career
as the OAC’s all-time leader in scoring and rebounding. His
point total was still recognized as the OAC’s 3-year career
record when OWU left the league in 1984.
SCOTT TEDDER
1987-88 1st-team All-
America
Tedder capped his
Bishop career by becom-
ing the first Ohio Wesleyan
athlete to twice earn firstteam
All-America honors.
His career total of 2501
points made him the North
Coast Athletic Conference’s
all-time leading scorer and
ranked fifth on the Division
III all-time list. He was the
NCAA Division III Player
of the Year and the Most
Outstanding Player of the
Division III Final Four as a
senior and was twice the
NCAC’s Player of the Year.
He led the league in scoring 3 times and ranked third among
Division III scorers as a junior and sixth as a senior. Tedder
set virtually every Ohio Wesleyan scoring record except
single-game, but he did set the NCAC single-game record
with 50 points against Ohio University his senior year. One of
Tedder’s lesser-known records is that he did not foul out of a
collegiate game.
LEE ROWLINSON
1988 2nd-team
All-America
Rowlinson’s senior
of 4 years of endless
self-improvement. A
when he entered Ohio
Wesleyan, Rowlinson had
blossomed to 6-9, 225 as
honors. As a senior, Rowlinson
led the NCAC in
rebounding and was second
in scoring and field
in free throw percentage.
He earned first-team
All-NCAC honors for the second straight season and was
named the league’s Player of the Year. He was named to alltournament
teams in both the Great Lakes Regional and the
NCAA Division III Final Four. Rowlinson played 8 years of
