BISHOP ALL-AMERICANS 60 MARK SLAYMAN 1989-90 Academic All-America ® Slayman was a secondteam GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-America ® selection as a junior, also earning first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors. As a senior, he earned firstteam GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-America ® laurels and was a second-team pick to both all-district and All- NCAC teams. Slayman led the Bishops in scoring and rebounding as a senior and was the 16th Bishop male to surpass the 1000-point plateau. He majored in economics management and minored in accounting and carried a grade-point average of 3.90. Camillus built upon that as a senior, developing into a scorer who would fearlessly drive the lane despite his 6-0 frame. Camillus ranked fifth in the NCAC in scoring, third in free throw percentage, seventh in assists and eighth in field goal percentage en route to first-team All-NCAC honors. He graduated with a 4.0 cumulative GPA with majors in philosophy and pre-law. Camillus was a first-team Academic All-America ® choice. He also ranked third in field goal percentage, seventh in steals and 10th in blocked shots on the way to NCAC Player of the Year and second-team All-America honors. Schwab made NCAC history by becoming the first player to earn 4 first-team all-conference citations. Warnock saved one of his best performances for his final regular-season home game, scoring a career-high 27 points and hitting some key free throws down the stretch during an 86-83 win over then-top-ranked Wooster. Warnock graduated with a 3.94 cumulative GPA with a major in economics management. Warnock was a second-team Academic All-America ® choice. He finished his career on a hot streak, scoring a career-high 29 points in the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament championship game to help the Bishops win their first tournament title in 20 years, then scoring a career-high 32 points in Ohio Wesleyan’s first NCAA playoff game in 20 seasons.
