Wayne <strong>Da</strong>nnheim’s ’80 daughter Kate is a senior at ACU, majoring<br />
in vocal education. Son Jonathan is a sophomore at ACU, majoring<br />
in business. Wife Deborah is retired from SBC. Wayne has �nished<br />
28 years <strong>of</strong> teaching band and has various vending and concession<br />
businesses on <strong>the</strong> side, most recently Little Jimmy’s Italian Ice. He is<br />
a recent cancer survivor. He and his wife are members <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> 4th and<br />
Elm Church <strong>of</strong> Christ in Sweetwater.<br />
Dwayne Dunn ’84 has just completed his 10th year at Ola<strong>the</strong> East<br />
High <strong>School</strong> and was named Kansas <strong>Music</strong> Teacher <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Year for <strong>2011</strong><br />
by <strong>the</strong> Kansas <strong>Music</strong> Educators Association at its February convention.<br />
He is serving as <strong>the</strong> state vocal chair for <strong>the</strong> Kansas All-State Choir<br />
<strong>2011</strong>-13 and is a candidate for president <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Kansas Choral Directors<br />
Association. He lives in Lawrence with his wife, Cindy Colwell Dunn,<br />
and three children, Bryce (12), Cuyler (7) and Cassidy (7). Dwayne<br />
enjoyed returning to Fort Worth to sing <strong>the</strong> Brahms Requiem in honor<br />
<strong>of</strong> Ron Shirey last November.<br />
Jan M. Foutch ’84 is director <strong>of</strong> quality systems and risk management<br />
at Southwest Transplant Alliance.<br />
Al Holcomb ’84 left <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> Central Florida and moved to<br />
Princeton, N.J., last summer to become chair <strong>of</strong> music education at<br />
Westminster Choir College.<br />
Andrea D’Ascenzo Delaney ’88 is playing second violin in <strong>the</strong><br />
Brockton Symphony Orchestra, a volunteer community orchestra<br />
in sou<strong>the</strong>ast Massachusetts. She plays violin in church services and<br />
for weddings. Occasionally, she and her husband go to a small pub<br />
on Cape Cod and play in Irish music slow sessions. Delaney went to<br />
<strong>the</strong> Chamber <strong>Music</strong> Roundup in 2010, and she is looking forward to<br />
ano<strong>the</strong>r visit sometime in <strong>the</strong> future. What a great time that is!<br />
Amy Detrick Allibon ’89 is in <strong>the</strong> 23rd year <strong>of</strong> her teaching career and<br />
third year at Birdville High <strong>School</strong>. Bro<strong>the</strong>r <strong>Da</strong>nny (’86, ’88) is her �ne<br />
arts director, and, for <strong>the</strong> life <strong>of</strong> her, Amy is not sure how she ended up<br />
having to answer to her big bro<strong>the</strong>r in her 40s! She actually loves that<br />
his o�ce is 100 yards from hers and that his son is in her JV Men’s Choir<br />
this year. Amy has just completed a two-year term as president <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
<strong>Texas</strong> Choral Directors Association and will serve as past president for<br />
<strong>the</strong> next two years. She and Rob still live on Park Place and enjoy being<br />
so close to <strong>TCU</strong> and seeing all <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> growth. They will celebrate <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
21st anniversary in December.<br />
Stephen Coover ’89 was on jazz scholarship (guitar) at <strong>TCU</strong>. He played<br />
in M-W-F and T-Th bands (no lunch). He also studied harp with Sydney<br />
Wilson, and he toured in Tokyo with Curt Wilson playing steel guitar/<br />
guitar, playing bluegrass and country with Miss <strong>Texas</strong>.<br />
In addition to his full-time church position, John Hutchinson ’89, ’91<br />
led a tour group to Germany, Austria and <strong>the</strong> Czech Republic, with<br />
<strong>the</strong> Passion Play at Oberammergau as <strong>the</strong> focal point. He served as<br />
organist for a multichoir, multiperformance presentation <strong>of</strong> Fauré’s<br />
Requiem and as pianist for �ve performances <strong>of</strong> The Wizard <strong>of</strong> Oz. He<br />
prepared and conducted <strong>the</strong> regional premiere <strong>of</strong> Robert Hobby’s<br />
“Holy Light” for full orchestra and 100-voice chorus. He was featured<br />
soloist on <strong>the</strong> NGCSU concert series on a program <strong>of</strong> music for organ,<br />
double brass sextet and percussion and performed <strong>the</strong> Symphony No.<br />
1 in D Minor by Alexandre Guilmant for organ/orchestra with <strong>the</strong> North<br />
Georgia Symphony. Hutchinson created and oversaw <strong>the</strong> installation<br />
<strong>of</strong> a permanent art piece <strong>of</strong> painted wooden organ pipes, representing<br />
<strong>the</strong> work <strong>of</strong> 50 artists, and also continued to lead and serve as founder/<br />
director <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Cumming First United Methodist Church Festival <strong>of</strong><br />
Arts, one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> largest regional �ne arts programs in Georgia.<br />
Ralph Morgan ’89 is entering his 20th year as a public school music<br />
educator in <strong>Texas</strong>. It has been a very satisfying career, even with<br />
<strong>the</strong> latest round <strong>of</strong> public school funding crisis talk, etc. He married<br />
a <strong>TCU</strong> friend, Llewellyn Shields (Ellyn), in 2003. They met in <strong>the</strong> <strong>TCU</strong><br />
orchestra in 1985 but did not date until <strong>the</strong>y met in <strong>the</strong> Irving school<br />
district in 2002. They had <strong>the</strong>ir �rst child in 2004 and second in 2007.<br />
Both <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> kids (girls) love <strong>TCU</strong>. Ralph was honored to be inducted<br />
into <strong>the</strong> <strong>TCU</strong> Band Hall <strong>of</strong> Fame in October 2010, one year after his<br />
dad, Bill Morgan, was inducted. Ralph is still active as pr<strong>of</strong>essional<br />
bassoonist, performing with <strong>the</strong> <strong>Da</strong>llas Wind Symphony, Lewisville<br />
Lake Symphony, East <strong>Texas</strong> Symphony, Wichita Falls Symphony and<br />
o<strong>the</strong>rs. The highlight <strong>of</strong> <strong>2011</strong> so far has been �ying out to Los Angeles<br />
to attend <strong>the</strong> Rose Bowl with his family (all Horned Frog band alums)<br />
Robert Morgan, Bill and Nyla Morgan, and friends Troy and Mary Jane<br />
Self Phillips. It is always a great time to be a Horned Frog, but this year<br />
has been especially sweet. Go Frogs!<br />
Alan Burton ’90 plays quite a bit with local pop/party bands in <strong>Da</strong>llas,<br />
and he is living large and single in Plano!<br />
Chrissy Ryder Holbrook ’90 was named director <strong>of</strong> bands at <strong>Da</strong>niell<br />
Middle <strong>School</strong> in Cobb County, Ga., e�ective fall <strong>2011</strong>. Her husband,<br />
Perry, is beginning his 11th year as director <strong>of</strong> orchestras at Walton<br />
High <strong>School</strong>, Cobb County. Their daughter, Bailey, is a freshman cellist<br />
at Walton High <strong>School</strong>.<br />
