In September, Half Price Books opened in Highland Park, marking its fifth location in Chicagoland. The 8,000+-square-foot store in the Crossroads Shopping Center (at Lake-Cook and Skokie Valley) is one of 101 stores nationwide that buys and sells new and used books, magazines, comics, records, CDs and DVDs and collectibles.
