The Irios is well suited for presenting
products from homogenous temperature
classes.
The Ivando enables you to display refrig
erated and frozen foods in one island. Two
units can be set up either directly next to
each other or further apart to thus build
around obstacles such as columns, beams,
or other structural elements.
Both islands can of course be expanded by
installing crown end cabinets to again
increase sales considerably.

We have been taking
measurements
The ideal measurements of the Irios and
Ivando are of course no coincidence. The
height of a freezer island should be 90 cm
to enable customers to easily bend over
the island and reach for merchandise. A
40 cm stacking height has proven to be
the ideal dimension to maintain the correct
temperature. The inside dimensions
were determined after extensive dialogue
with the retail trade and the food industry.
Based on the information gained, we have
determined that 85 cm is the system dimension
in which all normal packaging formats
can be optimally accommodated. Regardless
of your product assortment or whatever you
have in mind – from meat to vegetables
and pizza, from fish to ice cream – it's all
in the Irios and Ivando.

Ideally low energy
consumption
The Irios and Ivando increase sales considerably
and at the same time decrease
the electric power for defrosting 30%. Our
principle of defrosting makes it possible.
During defrosting, the heating rods, installed
in the centre of the condensers of
these islands, transfer the heat to the condenser
without dissipation.
Special tandem condenser
The tandem condenser in the Irios
developed by Linde supplies cold air to the
display compartment. It is comprised of two
units to reliably ensure that constant
temperatures are maintained. Since both
units use the same expansion valve, the
Irios is especially easy to service.
