performer and team MVP at White Knoll<br />
High School where he averaged 18.2 points,<br />
9.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 3.0<br />
blocks per game.<br />
Ben Arnold, a 6-3, 170-pound freshman<br />
guard from LaFolle� e , Tenn. graduated from<br />
Cumberland Gap High School where he led<br />
<strong>the</strong> Pan<strong>the</strong>rs to a 22-8 record his senior season<br />
and became <strong>the</strong> school’s all-� me scoring<br />
leader with 1,492 career points. Arnold averaged<br />
nearly 22 points, six rebounds and four<br />
steals per game during his fi nal prep campaign<br />
and was an All-Conference honoree.<br />
Devin Call, 6-3, 190-pound guard from<br />
Winchester, Va., a� e nded Fishburne Military<br />
Academy last year where he averaged 13.2<br />
points and 2.0 assists per game. Call graduated<br />
from Millbrook HS where he was named<br />
<strong>the</strong> Northwestern District Player of <strong>the</strong> Year<br />
and TV3 Winchester Player of <strong>the</strong> Year. He<br />
garnered All-District First Team and All-Region<br />
First Team accolades, while also earning All-<br />
State Honorable Men� on recogni� on. Call averaged<br />
17.5 points per game in his senior year,<br />
while also tallying 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists<br />
per game in his fi nal season with <strong>the</strong> Millbrook<br />
Pioneers.<br />
Mason Fox is playing in his fi rst full season<br />
with <strong>the</strong> Tusculum men’s basketball program<br />
a� er playing two years on <strong>the</strong> Pioneer men’s<br />
soccer team. The 5-11, 165-pound sophomore<br />
guard played in 19 career matches on <strong>the</strong> TC<br />
pitch, including two starts. In 2010, he played<br />
in a total 176 minutes where he recorded a goal<br />
against Lees-McRae and added an assist in a<br />
4-0 win over Carson-Newman. The Crossville,<br />
Tenn. na� v e graduated from Stone Memorial<br />
High School where he earned All-Conference<br />
First Team and All-Region Second Team honors<br />
in basketball. Fox averaged 12 points and nine<br />
assists per game during his career and was also<br />
a two-� me All-District performer in soccer.<br />
Rory McClure, a 6-0, 160-pound guard<br />
from Canton, N.C., played his prep career at<br />
Pisgah High School. McClure averaged 22.5<br />
points, 5.4 assists and 3.6 steals per game and<br />
was named <strong>the</strong> Western North Carolina Athletic<br />
Conference Player of <strong>the</strong> Year. The All-State<br />
Second Team selec� on led <strong>the</strong> Black Bears to a<br />
WNCAC Tournament � tle and was selected to<br />
<strong>the</strong> Ci� zen-Times All-WNC Team.<br />
Ma� Shown, a 6-6, 210-pound freshman<br />
forward from Knoxville, Tenn., a� e nded Alcoa<br />
High School where he averaged 18 points and<br />
8.3 rebounds per game while being named <strong>the</strong><br />
Blount County Player of <strong>the</strong> Year. Shown also<br />
garnered All-District, All-District Tournament,<br />
All-Region and All-Region Tournament accolades<br />
for Alcoa.<br />
BJ Fisher, a 6-2, 175-pound guard from<br />
Tucker, Ga., comes to Tusculum from Decatur<br />
High School where he helped lead his prep<br />
squad to a pair of 2A State Tournament appearances.<br />
He is a two-year le� e rman and<br />
averaged 15 points, fi ve rebounds per game in<br />
his senior year.<br />
Freshman Chase Ward-McEwen played<br />
last year at Massanu� en Military Academy<br />
where <strong>the</strong> 6-1, 185-pound freshman guard averaged<br />
10.7 points and 3.5 assists per ou� ng.<br />
Chase Mounce, a 6-9, 220-pound freshman<br />
center from Elkin, N.C., averaged 7.2<br />
points and 6.1 rebounds per game at Fort<br />
Union Military Academy. During his prep career<br />
at Forsyth Country Day, Mounce posted<br />
11.8 points and 8.5 boards per contest.<br />
Ma� Redic, a 6-0, 190-pound freshman<br />
guard from Durham, N.C., played his prep career<br />
at Nor<strong>the</strong>rn High School and was <strong>the</strong> team<br />
most valuable player of <strong>the</strong> NC Jaguars AAU<br />
– 17U team in 2011.<br />
James Clay is not new to <strong>the</strong> program,<br />
serving in a variety of roles with <strong>the</strong> team, but<br />
has earned a spot on <strong>the</strong> roster as a senior.<br />
The 6-2, 195-pound product of Lawrenceville,<br />
Ga. played at Southwest Atlanta Chris� a n<br />
Academy.<br />
