ZCompletely removes silicic acid and silicate<br />

hw ® -silicic-acid/silicate-remover were developed<br />

mainly to remove any remaining residual silicic acid frequently<br />

found in pure water (permeate) of reverse osmosis<br />

system and thereby significantly inhibit the growth of<br />

diatoms in seawater aquariums.<br />

hw ® -silicic-acid/silicate-remover can do more,<br />

however, than just remove silicic acid. In addition to<br />

silicic acid, hw ® -silicic-acid/silicate-remover also<br />

eliminate any remaining traces of nitrite, nitrate, and<br />

phosphate.<br />

hw ® -silicic-acid/silicate-remover eliminate the trace<br />

amounts of silicic acid contained in osmosis water,<br />

which results in a significant reduction of the diatom<br />

growth in seawater aquariums.<br />

hw ® -silicic-acid/silicate-remover thus guarantee<br />

the starting water in your aquarium is ultrapure<br />

hw ® -silicic-acid/silicate-remover are installed<br />

following the reverse osmosis system (downstream)<br />

at the pure water outlet. The capacity is sufficient for<br />

approx. 2500 to 3000 liters of water, depending on the quality (total salt residues) of<br />

the passed through osmosis water.<br />

hw ® -silicic-acid/silicate-remover, are delivered complete with medium cartridge<br />

and tube connections.<br />
