ZCompletely removes silicic acid and silicate
hw ® -silicic-acid/silicate-remover were developed
mainly to remove any remaining residual silicic acid frequently
found in pure water (permeate) of reverse osmosis
system and thereby significantly inhibit the growth of
diatoms in seawater aquariums.
hw ® -silicic-acid/silicate-remover can do more,
however, than just remove silicic acid. In addition to
silicic acid, hw ® -silicic-acid/silicate-remover also
eliminate any remaining traces of nitrite, nitrate, and
phosphate.
hw ® -silicic-acid/silicate-remover eliminate the trace
amounts of silicic acid contained in osmosis water,
which results in a significant reduction of the diatom
growth in seawater aquariums.
hw ® -silicic-acid/silicate-remover thus guarantee
the starting water in your aquarium is ultrapure
hw ® -silicic-acid/silicate-remover are installed
following the reverse osmosis system (downstream)
at the pure water outlet. The capacity is sufficient for
approx. 2500 to 3000 liters of water, depending on the quality (total salt residues) of
the passed through osmosis water.
hw ® -silicic-acid/silicate-remover, are delivered complete with medium cartridge
and tube connections.
