Mechanism for Implementation � Initially to train all the milk vendors in Guwahati city. Subsequently ,to train other market agents (milk producers, cottage processors, sweet makers etc.) in the Guwahati city. � Upon availability of fund, extend the initiative to other cities of Assam; � Generate awareness among the milk market agents to move forward for better social recognition, increase business volume through better customer satisfaction. � To form Hygienic Milk Monitoring Committee (HMMC) among the trained market agents in each cluster for monitoring of improved practices by fellow members.
Mechanism for implementation (cont..) � Surprise visit by HMMC & monitor the activities of each train milk agents twice in a month based on the monitoring format approved by JCMC. Submit the filled up format to JCMC at the end of each month. � Surprise visit by JCMC representatives & monitor the traders to validate the HMMC’s report. � After monitoring the improved practices by HHMC & JCMC for 3 months, prepare a list of market agents who are adopting improved practices regularly. � Issue certificate by JCMC to the successful market agents; � Forward the names of successful traders by JCMC to GMC for issuing identity card & logo/badge, dresses & other assistance.
