Wagner’s Ring Cycle is about a being<br />
who disconnects from the world in<br />
order to achieve supreme power.<br />
With this, the being corrupts the<br />
forces of nature. Disaster looms until<br />
a woman demonstrates the power of<br />
true love. Nature’s balance is restored<br />
and a new age is able to begin.<br />
The last time The Ring Cycle was<br />
staged in Adelaide; the 18-hour epic<br />
cost $15 million and took four days.<br />
This 80 minute version tells the<br />
story through storytelling and<br />
fi lm animation with live musical<br />
soundtrack and beautiful singing.<br />
