Several European railways equipped with Kapsch

2002
Kapsch Group repositioned with three strategic
business areas and three independent entities :
Kapsch TrafficCom AG, Kapsch CarrierCom AG and
Kapsch BusinessCom AG.
2003
World‘s largest nationwide, fully electronic toll
collection system for heavy vehicles set up in Austria.
Kapsch is turnkey system supplier.
2006
Electronic truck toll collection system set up in the
Czech Republic in record time and road operations
started.
2007
Kapsch TrafficCom AG IPO on the Vienna Stock
Exchange; branch offices set up in Serbia and Belarus.
2010
Kapsch TrafficCom acquires Mark IV IVHS and wins
major contracts in South Africa and Poland. Kapsch
CarrierCom acquires GSM-R technology from Nortel.
2011
Kapsch TrafficCom wins major contract to operate Russian
motorway. Kapsch CarrierCom brings production of GSM-
/GSM-R systems back from China to Vienna. Kapsch
BusinessCom and Google agree on a trend-setting
partnership.
2012
Kapsch BusinessCom becomes Apple partner in Austria.
