Methodology
Mobility Challenges 2010 Empirical Report
I.
The survey was conducted exclusively on-line.
II.
The survey provided nineteen statements and asked HR and Mobility professionals to define
the level of priority for each. Each statement was graded based on a scale of high, medium
and low priority.
III.
Analysis of the results focused on those responses that had been rated as a “high priority”.
IV.
Each statement was ranked in terms of importance based on the percentage number of
respondents who marked it as a “high priority”.
V.
Where the percentage number of respondents who marked it as a “high priority” was equal, the
percentage number of respondents who marked it as a “low priority” was used as a comparison.
VI.
The results for each statement from across the total sample population were collated to
provide the “standard”.
VII.
The responses were then split by regions and the results compared against the standard.
VIII.
For each region, the survey identifies the top three priorities for that region and significant
variations from the standard.
