Always one step ahead is the motto of our product management. By means of many years of
experience and forward looking operations, ms Neumann Elektronik established itself as market
leader for information and safety technology. This is shown again by receiving an European patent
on the base of the “decentrally organized IP-based communication system with analogue
WL-intercom call stations”.

Safety is Standard at ms Neumann Elektronik – DS-6 is Certified According
to EN 54-16
Like all the other systems manufactured by ms Neumann Elektronik, the DS-6 system also
meets highest safety requirements. After the certification according to DIN EN 60849, the most
important standard for voice alarm control and indicating equipment and evacuation systems, the
DS-6 system is also certified according to EN 54-16 now.
The product standard EN 54-16 is an European standard, which describes the requirements of
each single component of a voice alarm control and indicating equipment in connection with
a fire alarm system. It defines the associated test procedures and specified the technical features.

The new version of the crane call station has the typical features of an MTSD DS-6 call station. It
is equipped with a 16 parts key pad, an electret microphone and a high quality loudspeaker. The
power supply is also integrated in the housing. The new design of the crane call station enables
an easy and quick mounting due to four quick releases.
The crane call station is connected via a WLAN access point with the DS-6 system. Depending
on the version of the access point, several 100 m can be realized. The WLAN access point
is supplied by the call station (Power over Ethernet).
