Day after day they watch as New York's most notorious gangland figure walks around his cell in a semi–catatonic stupor, occasionally breaking into songs from West Side Story. Is Vitti having a nervous breakdown because of recent threats on his life by a rival family, or is his odd behavior merely a foxy ploy to get him sprung from jail early? The FBI isn't sure, and neither is his former psychotherapist Ben Sobel, who gets called in to consult on the case. The last time Sobel treated Vitti, he tried to get to the source of his debilitating anxiety attacks, but barely scratched the surface. It will take time to examine the demons still lurking in Vitti's mind and help put him on the straight and narrow--time that Sobel doesn't want to give. The truth is, Sobel has problems of his own. His father has just died, plunging him into an identity crisis in both his personal and professional lives. Furthermore, he knows his wife Laura will be furious if he allows the unpredictable Vitti back into their lives. But when Vitti is granted a conditional release into Sobel's care and custody, becoming his patient again and--even worse--his houseguest, the reluctant psychiatrist finds that he has no choice. There have been many great actor playing the lead role like Sean Connery, Roger Moore and for the past 4 films Pierce Bronson has been the leading man. The 20th film is out and it is called Die Another Day. With Bond films you can expect a few things. First there will be some exotic cars and exotic car chases, Second there will be big stunts defining the laws of gravity, Third there will be someone trying to take over the world, Fourth there will be many beautiful women and last but not least Bond will all ways get the ladies. Die Another Day is the film they needed to take Bond to another 20 films. When you do sequels or series it hard to keep the movie real and original without coping an older film over and over again. Some of the classic Bond films get better with age, just like fine wine. So to keep it real and original Die Another Day is out. The story was good typical with a bond film. The idea of the film I like how they use gene therapy, was a very cool idea for a film. What makes Bond a hit beside the story is the characters that are in it. We know bond is a ladies man so you have to team him up with some beautiful ladies also the ladies have to hold there own. They have to be stronger then most of there men counterparts. So it is smart to bring in an Oscar Winning actress like Halle Berry. She has the looks, the talent and in this film she kicks major butt. Also to make a good Bond film you have to have a good villain. In previous Bond film we have seen some great villains like Jaws. The villain is this new installment was good not as good as other villains. But everyone is different it hard to compare the two. The stunts in Die Another Day is good there are a lot of car chases, gun fights, racing down mountains which was cool. Except couple of scenes they look so fake looking you could tell it was CGI. The CGI was so bad they could have done a better job on the CGI effects. Also one screen with a exotic car they did something with it when the screen is over you will be saying no why that could happen. A nice thing of Die Another Day was the gadgets that you expect to see if a Bond film. And in this film it does not disappoint there are a lot of cool stuff and if you look good you will see some stuff from older Bond films. There was a cameo by a well know music star which was a nice touch. Now after seeing Die Another Day can I honestly say I like it? Yes granted that the couple of things I mention before did effect the overall grade. But with a Bond film you can overlook the bad things and say did you enjoy it? if the answer is yes then that all that matters. And in my opinion I did enjoy it. Overall go see this fine installment of the Bond series you will not be disappointed check it out today. Fred Perkins ✰✰✰✰
