Registration<br />
Winter Session 2013<br />
Register for courses October 29 – January 1 by accessing the<br />
online schedule of classes through my<strong>UMBC</strong>.<br />
Students assume an academic and financial obligation when<br />
registering for <strong>winter</strong> session courses. Students must follow the<br />
established university add/drop policies and procedures<br />
to ensure enrollment or must terminate enrollment to avoid<br />
financial penalties.<br />
Current, visiting and incoming students can use the following<br />
checklists to help ensure they have everything needed for a<br />
smooth and successful <strong>winter</strong> session. The resources in this<br />
<strong>catalog</strong> will help answer your questions, but please contact<br />
<strong>winter</strong>@umbc.edu with any questions along the way.<br />
Current <strong>UMBC</strong> Students<br />
Current <strong>UMBC</strong> students are not<br />
required to apply for <strong>winter</strong> session.<br />
• Register for courses through<br />
my<strong>UMBC</strong><br />
• Pay student bill<br />
• Purchase textbooks<br />
• Verify class location and<br />
meeting times<br />
• Check final grades<br />
Note: Academic advising is recommended but<br />
not required.
