Well what a fantastic season! We always had plenty of snow and, apart from a few days watching it blow away,
some lovely weather. We also had a record number of Coggins and Eagles! The Coggins “stats” are 109 kids came
for a total of 377 days which is a record during the past 12 seasons.
They were looked after by a regular team of Bob, Rachel and
Grace “I used to be a Coggin” McCutchen and various other
Swiss Ski School leaders. We had our last prize giving in the old
hut before our new more glamorous events in the new “hut”.
Every picture tells a story they say and this year we have many
very good photos so this year we would like to use our journal
space to share a few of them with you and show you all the fun
we had.Want to join the show?
Please, please, try to remember to tell us you when are coming
and how many days you are likely to ski with Coggins. It makes it
so much easier to get the right leaders to ensure an exciting weeks
skiing. The first bookings have already been made for next half
term and booking is now almost essential.
If you are between 7 and 13 and have not been a Coggin yet -
come and join us. Learn to ski fast, have fun and be safe on the
most beautiful mountains in the world (and learn their names
as well). We welcome all 7 to 13 year olds who ski to “racing
snowplough” standard and enjoy skiing with other English
speaking kids. We are definitely not ski school but you will learn
an awful lot about skiing faster and safer.

between 17.00 and 18.00 GMT. Make sure of your place for the
next season and we’ll do the rest to give the Coggins a fantastic
holiday they’ll remember forever.
We must thank Ercole Famiglietti of Wengen Ski School for
managing to accommodate all our requests for instructors and
for lending us race courses and equipment Thanks also to all the
parents who gave their time to help with races and of course to
the people of Wengen who make it such a great place to ski.
Lastly, we always plead with members to spread the word about
Coggins, it really is unique, so that we can continue to train
enthusiastic, fast and safe young skiers.
