Description: HEMPEL'S <strong>UNDERCOAT</strong> <strong>KSS</strong> <strong>426</strong> <strong>KW</strong> is a fairly quick drying intermediate<br />

coat based on alkyd resin. It has excellent hiding power.<br />

General remarks: The coverage is largely dependent on porosity of the substrate the extent of<br />

thinning and the method of application. Drying data is given on the assumption<br />

that proper ventilation and relative humidity below 65% is provided.<br />

Kuwait Standard HEMPEL'S <strong>UNDERCOAT</strong> <strong>KSS</strong> <strong>426</strong> <strong>KW</strong> complies with standards<br />

Specification: of <strong>KSS</strong> 15-1994. The paint is tested by the Government's Research Station<br />

and Institutes and is recommended for use in Kuwait.<br />

Safety: As a general rule, inhalation of paint mist and contact of liquid paint with skin<br />

and eyes should be avoided. Forced ventilation should be provided when<br />

working in confined spaces or stagnant air.<br />

Even when ventilation is provided, respiratory, skin and eye protection are<br />

always recommended when spraying paint.<br />
