Course objectives:<br />
1. Providing skills and building competence in areas such as<br />
Management, Law & Economics.<br />
2. Understanding the role of the participants as officers of the Indian<br />
Administrative Service within the framework of the Constitution.<br />
3. Exposure to best practices in governance in different parts of the<br />
country.<br />
4. Appreciation of the responsibilities of the IAS officers in the field and at<br />
policy levels,<br />
5. Acquisition of IT skills, and exposure to the various growing sectors of<br />
