Features CORIPOL ® GF is a brownish oil based on a combination of selected
natural and synthetic fatty substances.
Charge:
Anionic.
Light fastness & heat resistance:
Very good.
Handling:
Wear gloves and goggles during handling & close containers tightly after
use. ALWAYS STIR BEFORE USE.
Storage stability:
Can be stored for about 1 year (from date of production) if kept between
10°C and 35°C. In any case, protect from frost and heat above 40°C.
Note: the product may change colour (permanently lighter) from ‘brown’ to
‘light brown’ when exposed to extremes of heat or cold. This change in
colour does not have any impact on the products quality or its
performance in application.
If product becomes frozen, warm to approx. 20 °C and stir before use.
Stability to electrolytes, hard water and in chrome tanning floats:
Very good.
Method of diluting:
CORIPOL ® GF is a pourable easy to handle liquid which should be diluted
with water at 60°C in a ratio of approx. 1 : 4 or, it can be added to the
drum without dilution.
Benefits CORIPOL ® GF has been developed as a universal fatliquor giving a
pleasant touch and very good dyeability to all kinds of nappa, suede and
split leather articles.
CORIPOL ® GF imparts high inner softness and very importantly, it has no
negative effect on the odour of the final article.
CORIPOL ® GF is the ideal main fatliquor for splits and especially for high
quality garment and furniture nappa made from hides or small skins.
For shoe upper leathers CORIPOL ® GF is the ideal companion fatliquor.
CORIPOL ® GF is very stable to hard water and also has very good
stability to chrome, vegetable tanning agents and the various salts
normally used in the tannery.
CORIPOL ® GF is compatible with other CORIPOL ® brands such as
CORIPOL ® MK, CORIPOL ® DX-1202, CORIPOL ® SLG or CORIPOL ®
UFB/W.
