El Grupo Bergé afirma que Sagunto puede ser el hub de la automoción asiática en el Mediterráneo
Así lo aseguraron en septiembre los directivos de Bergé y Cía que presentaron a los medios la terminal de vehículos que el grupo tiene en Sagunto. Una superficie
de 283.000 metros cuadrados, una ubicación geográfica privilegiada y unos altos estándares de calidad exigidos por la propia compañía confirman a “Carport” como
una terminal de referencia en el mercado.
“Sagunto es, a nuestro entender, la mejor opción logística para la distribución de vehículos para España. Es un 20% más barata que desde cualquier otro destino
por su ubicación. Además a Sagunto llegan las mayores navieras del mundo”, afirmó el consejero delegado de Bergé Infraestructuras y Servicios Logísticos, Juan
Aguirre.
El presidente de la APV, Rafael Aznar, destacó que la alianza estratégica de la APV con el Grupo Bergé, es un relevante ejemplo de la óptima sintonía existente entre
la APV y la iniciativa privada.

These were the conclusions of the top management of Bergé y Cía. during the presentation of its Sagunto Vehicle Terminal to the media in September. A
surface area of 283,000 square metres, a privileged geographical location, and self-imposed high quality standards confirm Carport as a benchmark terminal
for the market.
“We believe Sagunto is the best logistics option for vehicle distribution in Spain. It is 20% cheaper than distribution from any other port because of its location. In
addition, the world's largest shipping lines call at Sagunto”, declared the Chief Executive of Bergé Infraestructuras y Servicios Logísticos, Juan Aguirre.
The PAV Chairman, Rafael Aznar, emphasised that the PAV's strategic alliance with the Bergé Group is a good example of the excellent synergies achieved between
the PAV and the private sector.
Madrid y Valencia reafirman su necesaria y estratégica complementariedad logística
A finales de septiembre, en Madrid, en el seno de la Jornada sobre
infraestructuras organizada por la Fundación Conexus, los presidentes de las
comunidades autónomas de Madrid y Valencia, Esperanza Aguirre y Alberto
Fabra, subrayaron la importancia de la logística y las infraestructuras, por su
carácter estratégico para ambas comunidades y su relevancia en las
relaciones entre las mismas, así como la complementariedad de las dos
comunidades, capaz de seguir manifestándose como un potente instrumento
al servicio del crecimiento de España.
La jornada contó con la participación de Rafael Aznar, presidente de la Autoridad
Portuaria como, moderador de la mesa redonda “Infraestructuras al Servicio de
las Mercancías”, y de Juan Antonio Delgado, subdirector general de la APV.
Madrid and Valencia reaffirm their strategic logistics alliance
At the end of September, during the infrastructure conference organised
by the Conexus Foundation in Madrid, the presidents of the regional governments
of Madrid and Valencia, Esperanza Aguirre and Alberto Fabra,
highlighted the strategic importance of logistics and infrastructures and
their significance in the relations between the two regions, as well as their
complementary nature, which acts as a powerful tool for growth in Spain.
The conference was attended by Rafael Aznar, the PAV Chairman, who
was the moderator of the round table “Infrastructures at the Service of
Goods Transport”, and Juan Antonio Delgado, the PAV Deputy Managing
Director.
