This week the Firebreakers are competing against the world at the Destination<br />
ImagiNation Global Finals in Knoxville, USA. Mario Calderon (7), Maria Margarita Luna<br />
(7), Paula Morales (7), Maria Jose Palacios (7), German Reyes (6), Steve Hennechart<br />
(5), and their team manager Kendall Jackson have been working together since<br />
October to prepare for this competition.<br />
They won the right to represent Colombia by finishing first place in their division at the<br />
Regional D.I. Tournament in Cali, Colombia in March. When asked how they felt<br />
representing their country on the world stage team member Hennechart replied “I’m<br />
proud of myself and I’m proud of our team because we’ve worked hard and we’ve<br />
made it so far.”<br />
