MIO OPS 1 PARTE 4 Emisión Inicial de un COA CAPÍTULO 4.3 Emisión Posterior de un COA SECCIÓN 4.3.1 Variación de un COA 1.0 Contenido de la Sección 1.1 Introducción 1.2 COA Existente- Solicitud de Cambio 1.1 Introducción Esta parte trata de los procedimientos a seguir por la AAC al ocuparse de aspectos sobre la continuidad de un COA después de su emisión inicial. Estos aspectos pueden considerarse bajo el término “variación”, al no referirse específicamente a renovaciones, en los casos que incluyan las leyes de Aviación Civil Centroamericanos. . 1.2 COA Existente – Solicitud de Cambio (a) Introducción Las circunstancias de un operador cambiarán con el tiempo, y las autorizaciones/aprobaciones a su COA, puede que no cumplan los nuevos requisitos. Cambios típicos pueden incluir: La clase de operación; o Tipo de Aeronave; o La estructura de rutas; o Contratos de Mantenimiento. Cuando estos cambios impliquen tipos de aeronaves adicionales o permisos adicionales, el Candidato deberá llenar nuevamente el MIO OPS FORMA 1000-1y MIO OPS FORMA 1000-2. En muchos casos, un cambio al COA supone emitir un nuevo COA. Aunque la norma permite variar un COA, es más sencillo administrativamente emitir uno nuevo, autorizando los cambios requeridos. Esto es debido a que se necesitarán dos procesos administrativos para alcanzar el mismo fin, uno para variar un COA, y otro para emitir un COA nuevo incorporando los cambios solicitados. Sin importar si el COA es variado o se emite uno nuevo, la AAC debe estar satisfecha que el candidato puede cumplir con los requerimientos de la Legislación de Aviación Civil.
