La cultura ocupa un lugar <strong>de</strong>stacado entre <strong>la</strong>s competencias que le son propias a <strong>la</strong><br />
comarca y representa un elemento estratégico <strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong>sarrollo personal y colectivo.<br />
El Servicio <strong>de</strong> Cultura, intenta llevar sus activida<strong>de</strong>s a todos los municipios <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong> comarca y<br />
sus respectivos núcleos, in<strong>de</strong>pendientemente <strong>de</strong>l número <strong>de</strong> habitantes. Por ello, se aspira<br />
aumentar anualmente <strong>la</strong> oferta cultural, tanto en cantidad como en calidad, intentando paliar<br />
<strong>la</strong>s diferencias que todavía hoy existen entre el mundo rural y urbano. Del mismo modo, se<br />
programan actuaciones <strong>para</strong> todos los colectivos: esco<strong>la</strong>res, jóvenes, adultos, ancianos…<br />
