Ken Kwapis (1958, Belleville, Illinois, EUA). Mientras estudiaba
en la Universidad del Sur de California (USC) ganó un premio
estudiantil de la Academia por su cortometraje For Heaven’s Sake
(1982). A lo largo de su carrera, ha alternado entre el trabajo cinematográfico
y el televisivo. Dirigió episodios en series como The
Larry Sanders Show (1992-1998) y Malcolm in the Middle (2000-
2006), y ha sido nominado a los premios Emmy en más de una
ocasión. Las películas de Kwapis incluyen las comedias románticas
The Beautician and the Beast (1997) y He’s Just Not That
Into You (2009), así como el drama The Sisterhood of the Traveling
Pants (2005).
Ken Kwapis (Belleville, Illinois, USA, 1958). While studying at the
University of Southern California (USC), he won the Student Academy
Award for his short For Heaven’s Sake (1982). Throughout
his career, he has worked in both film and television, directing
various TV series like The Larry Sanders Show (1992-1998) and
Malcolm in the Middle (2000-2006) and winning several Emmy
nominations. Kwapis’ films include the romantic comedies The
Beautician and the Beast (1997) and He’s Just Not That Into You
(2009), as well as the drama The Sisterhood of the Traveling
Pants (2005).
