Definitions
Lap Swim Lap lane dividers are used to define each lane, and
if there are more than 2 people in a lane, we ask that you
“circle swim” by staying to your right as you swim.
Open Play Swim Open play swim is offered to everyone!
Children less than 48” tall must be accompanied by a parent in
the water.
Tots-n-Tow Swim All children must be accompanied by an
adult in the water. May also be considered Parent/Tot Swim.
Senior/Therapy Swim During these hours, the pool’s
environment is less active and more comfortable for senior
swim and therapy type activities.
Water Fitness Energize yourself with this invigorating
workout in the water! Focus on cardiovascular fitness with
special attention to strength and flexibility. A great way to
get in shape without impacting bones and joints.
Deep Water Fitness Occurs in 6ft of water and you
do not need to be able to swim to participate. Foam
buoyancy-support belts are used around the waist/hips and
buoyant hand-held “dumbbells assist in keeping you upright
and your head out of the water. Zero joint impact with
muscle toning and flexibility throughout the entire body is
the goal.
Zumba Are you ready to party yourself into shape?
That’s exactly what the Zumba program is all about. It’s
an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired,
calorie-burning dance fitness-party that’s moving millions of
people toward joy and health.
Turbokick Combination of intense kickboxing moves, as well
as, dance moves all perfectly choreographed to high energy
and motivating music. It’s the ultimate cardiovascular
challenge that’s a unique blend of intense intervals
strength/endurance training, and a relaxing cool-down.
PiYo Unique athletic blend of strength training and core
conditioning with a foundation in Pilates and Yoga.
The combined moves form effective choreography that’s
challenging and will make you sweat. It’s about energy, power,
and rhythm. Think sculpted
abdominals, increased
overall core strength,
and greater
stability.
