BENEFITS AND FUNCTIONALITY
• Dormer OnLine (DOL) is an internet ordering
service which allows you to place and progress
orders, check price and realtime availability, and
examine and re-use your order and invoice history.
It is available exclusively to authorised Dormer
distributors with a direct trading account.
• With DOL you can place/progress orders, check
product price/availability and even track shipments
throughout the day.
• DOL is very easy to use, requiring little training or
previous knowledge of internet ordering solutions.
• Because DOL is directly linked to the Dormer
Tools global ordering system, it is constantly being
updated with information on product availability,
new products, etc.
• Because you input your orders directly into the
Dormer ordering system, there is little likelihood of
order entry errors.
• Because DOL is an Internet based system, you
can place your orders ANYWHERE with internet
access - even whilst visiting YOUR customers.
• DOL includes a selection tool - SmartChoice
- to make sure you order the correct product.
• Using the ‘Upload’ function, you can program
auto- orders generated by your ordering systems
to create a file to upload to DOL
(no “double typing” required).
• DOL allows you to ‘build’ large orders over the
course of the working day, rather than sending
numerous small orders. This helps reduce
administration for both you and Dormer (fewer
parcels to book in, invoices to pay, orders to
progress etc) which in turn reduces cost.
• You can use previous orders to create new - similar
ones, or even create a template to be used over
and over again (eg for monthly stock orders).
