Our names are Marina<br />
Alvarez and Imanol Barrenetxea.<br />
We are 12 years old and<br />
we both live in Leioa.<br />
We have a “El Bulevar”<br />
with a high statue called “el<br />
pirulí”. This statue is very<br />
important in Leioa because is<br />
the center of the town. It’s<br />
also very old. There are many<br />
gar<strong>de</strong>ns all along El Bulevar<br />
with beautiful flowers. There<br />
is a waterfall with some different<br />
types of goldfish in it.<br />
We can visit Artea Palace.<br />
When the king and the Ween<br />
of Spain come for a visit, they<br />
spend the night in this palace.<br />
Leioa culture centre, in this<br />
place children have workshops<br />
of puppets and they<br />
make bread.<br />
There is a big mall called<br />
Artea. Here we can buy anything<br />
we need, mend cars, go<br />
to the cinema, bowling...<br />
Artea is a great place o live.<br />

Plentzia eta Sopelaren artean<br />
dago, hau da, Urduliz herri<br />
txikia. Oso polita eta nire<br />
ustez oso lasaia. Batzutan<br />
lasaitasun hori ez zaizu gustatzen<br />
oso aspergarria <strong>de</strong>lako,<br />
batez ere neguan. Udan gauza<br />
gehiago egin ahal dira, adibi<strong>de</strong>z<br />
Santamarinara igon,<br />
hortik ikusmen e<strong>de</strong>rrak dau<strong>de</strong><br />
eta. Udako amaieran jaiak<br />
etortzen dira eta tortila lehiaketak,<br />
jokuak, kontzertuak eta<br />

Getxo<br />
Places to visit: there are<br />
many places to visit in Getxo.<br />
First, you can go to el puente<br />
colgante and from the top,<br />
you can see a great view of<br />
call Getxo. You can also see<br />
the old harbour or see the traineras<br />
going through the<br />
Nervión river. There are some<br />
fabolous houses as Lezama<br />
Leguizamón’s family.<br />
Places to eat: there are lots<br />
of good restaurants in Getxo<br />
like El Molino but if you<br />
want to have a hamburger go<br />
to Artea or the Puerto Deportivo.<br />
Places to have fun: If you<br />
want to have fun, go to Artea<br />
bowling or to the game zone,<br />
but you can also go to the<br />
great cinemas at el Puerto<br />
Deportivo or Artea.<br />

This is my town. It’s beautiful<br />
town near Bilbao. It’s<br />
quite small but it’s got every<br />
hing in it: supermarkets, restaurants,<br />
emergencies, un<strong>de</strong>rground,<br />
beaches, cinemas,<br />
shops an pups. Here are some<br />
photos of the town. For me<br />
it’s the best town to live.<br />
