The main stress was given to thevalues like respecting the elders, parents,teachers, etc. Protecting the Earth and itsnatural beauty was another prominent theme.Typical dances and other cultural activities ofIndia made the whole program excellent.The month of February was really a busy monthas the Plus Two students were finishing theirclasses and preparing for their finalexamination. As usual a simple farewellfunction was conducted and many shared theirexperience being in our school especially thosestudents who studied here since LKG. Asentimental outflow was seen throughout theprogram.On 17 th February our Provincial Delegate Fr. Rev.Javier Antolín and the Provincial Economo FrayAdolfo visited us and gave us proper guidelinesand corrections. The newly formed AugustinianLay fraternity members were also given anoccasion to meet the Provincial Delegate. Hehad shared the importance of the life of St.Augustine in our times.The month of March was really a period ofenjoying real friendship among the students andteachers as they feel that the academic year isabout to finish and they want to organizefarewell parties along with “food festival”. TheDistrict Educational officer also paid an officialvisit in order to encourage us in our educationalefforts. On 16 th March the students of 10 thstandard also organized a farewell gatheringand interchanged their experience as Englishmedium students. After the farewell they weregiven study leave and on 28 th their examinationstarted. It finishes on 12 th April.The community members seem to be a little bitbusy as the year ending is at hand. All membersshowed their community bond participating inthe funeral of Mrs. Mary George, sister of Fr.Jacob Mullassery at Cochin. The community alsooffered a special Mass in honor of her. Almostall members enjoyed taking ministries in Keraladuring Easter celebrations.Los PP. John Bosco y Marydas con el P. Javier y Fr. Majority of the membersare willing to participate in the Annual Retreatand the Augustinian Spirituality Courseorganized by the Delegation of Our Lady ofGrace, India.ThalapuzhaOur fathers working in Thalapuzha, Wayanadalso had a busy three months from January toMarch. St. Thomas parish which is taken care ofby the community in the person of Fr. JohnBosco Kuttuthara had celebrated its Parish Feastin the month of January with great devotionand preparation and there was a festive mealfor all the parishioners on the main feast daywhich was prepared from the generosity of theparishioners and other benefactors of theparish. A retreat was conducted for theparishioners in preparation for celebrating thegreat mysteries of Christ’s passion death andresurrection with due faith and devotion.
