Pass the lap section of the adultbelt over the child’s lap and under the armrest on both sides of the seat. Ensure the lap beltis low down on the child’s lap and firmly <strong>en</strong>gaging with the pelvis. Connect the adult beltconnector tongue to the seat belt buckle (24).Ensure that on the buckle side both the lap and diagonal sections of the adult seat belt passunder the armrest (24). Now adjust the headrest so that the diagonal belt section passesover the shoulder midway betwe<strong>en</strong> the neck and the <strong>en</strong>d of the shoulder. The headrest beltguide should be near level with the child’s shoulder (25) (26).
