obtuvieron puntuaciones más elevadas enlos factores negativos del test y más bajasen los factores positivos en comparacióncon escolares españoles, ingleses, canadiensesy norteamericanos, lo cual nosobliga a abogar por la adaptación correctade los instrumentos que han sido construidosfuera de nuestro contexto social y cultural,antes de su aplicación indiscriminadaen la población escolar o deportiva española(Duda y Hayashi, 1998; Gauvin y Russell,1993).Si bien este estudio nos muestra lasdificultades que tiene aplicar el test AMPETen su versión original a población española,podemos indicar que este test, en suversión española, por sus características ypor sus propiedades psicométricas, esadecuado e interesante para que puedaser empleado por los profesores y profesoraspara conocer las motivaciones desus alumnos, a partir de los 9 años de edad(Gutiérrez, 2003).
