3 OperatingGB3.2Inserting /removingbatteriesOpen the battery compartment on the underside of the unitby exerting slight pressure whilst sliding it simultaneously in thedirection of the arrow. Insert the four batteries (type AA LR6)supplied. Remember to insert the batteries as indicated in theillustration on the base of the device.. Replace the lid, pressing ituntil it snaps into place.If the orange battery indicator lights up when the device isswitched on, replace the batteries.WARNINGBATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION• Do not disassemble batteries!• Remove discharged batteries from the deviceimmediately!• Increased risk of leakage, avoid contact with skin,eyes and mucous membranes! This is sufficient for 5 - 8 inhalation sessions withsalt solution (depending on the dosage and length of use).As a rule, the inhalation phase using the MEDISANA USC is8 - 10 minutes if the active ingredient tank is filled to itsmaximum of 8 ml due to the ultrasound nebulizer’s highperformance. However, each inhalation session may not last morethan 15 minutes.19
