8.3 Cleaning and MaintenanceTO REMOVE AND WASHINFANT RESTRAINT PAD,follow instructions in “5.1Positioning Harness Straps”,pages 20-23 to remove theharness straps from the metaljunction plate. Push aside thesmall tab that holds the anchorclips in place and pull theanchor clips out of theirindentations. Remove theanchor clips from the harnessstraps and push straps throughseat slots .Once seat pad has been removed put anchorclips back on the harness straps so they donot get misplaced.Carefully remove the seat pad. Machine wash ondelicate cycle and drip-dry. DO NOT USE BLEACH.Reverse steps to reinstall seat pad. Check that harnesssystem is not twisted, and pull on harness system to besure harness is securely reinstalled.44
