Master KPKs Visit to Spain in June15 to June 17: Group living in Sant Hilari (Girona):"Seven Winds Seminar" on the Montseny Mountain, aplace with the energies of Saturn.During a weekend we celebrated with our belovedMaster KPK a sublime group living with the support ofthe brotherhood from the entire grou in Spain, fromSwitzerland, India, Germany, Belgium, Argentina, theUnited States. Almost 250 people attended this seminarVisit of the house of Montseny:The Master gave his blessing to the house that a groupof people were managing to give to the group a placeto stay, for meditation and study.The Master performed a Fire Ritual and conducted theconference. So the Master lectured on Anni Besant andthe Sanskrit meaning of "Vasantha" and framed guidelinesfor the group to progress with their study, meditationand service. This conference touched the groupdeeply by the Master's words in reference to MadameBlavatsky.Visit of the Master to the House of Rosa and MiquelAfter the seminar in Sant Hilari the Master visited thehouse of our brothers and friends Miguel and Rosa. Inthe beautiful garden and next to the statue of Krishnathe Master gave a lecture on Lord Krishna. Theyshared a meal for the nearly 100 people who attended.The Master was interested in the beauties that Rosaand Miquel have at their home from their many tripsBVA was founded in 1997 under the inspiration of thewords of Master KPK on Service. This year we askedthe Master for the first time to visit the locality, (wenever wanted to bother him by asking for a visit, butthis year we felt that we could ask); we wanted toshow him personally the entire organization. We metwith some people from the WTT who cooperate in oneway or another. After explaining all the activities thatwe do to help the most disadvantaged ones, weshowed him the institution.The Master commented to us about the service andasked for a summary of the activities to be publishedin India and inspire our brothers from there.WTT Spain has spent 15 years with the BVA and deeplyappreciated the visit of the Master and the words ofthe Master: "....... this is the only authentic (service),everything else is glamor ...."6

Visit of the Master of the Cathedral of Barcelona"Sagrada Familia"The Master visited with some members of the groupthe impressive cathedral of Gaudi "La Sagrada Familia".The renowned architect Gaudi was a Christian believer,a mystic and a connoisseur of Wisdom. TheMaster told us that it is one of the few cathedrals dedicatedto the Family. We meditated quietly in one ofthe rooms.Visit the Sacred Mountain of Montserrat.On a hot day of June the Master proposed to go toMontserrat. It was a tour to the mountain where theenergies were latent; the Master went for severalhours through the mountains in deep silence. He said"the important thing is to connect with the energies ofthe subtle world that were once here; it is not necessaryto eat, drink, just be in deep silence for thoseenergies come to us .... At Montserrat, in the ethericplanes of the mountains there is an Ashram with differentgroups of servers active in the service of theHierarchy." That day we did not eat at noon, neitherthe Master. We went from the mountain early in theafternoon with hearts full of gratitude for the blessingthat the Master granted us.Visit to the headquarters of the WTT-SpainIn the afternoon we went with visit the Master to theheadquarters of of WTT Spain. The Master gave a lectureon "The Art of Dying". It was one of the best conferencesoffered in Spain, said the Master; at the entryinto the headquarters he smiled inspired by LordSiva. März 2012Im März 2012 waren die USA mit dem Besuch von M.KPK in Miami gesegnet. Er erleuchtete uns mit vierAbendvorträgen über „Menschliche Transformation“und einem Gruppenleben zum Thema „Das Ritual desÜbergangs“. Mitglieder von anderen Teilen des Landessowie Brüder und Schwestern aus Indien, Europa, Süd-,Nord- und Zentralamerika schlossen sich uns bei diesemEreignis an.7

103. Master May Call Feier, Flüeli-Ranft, Schweiz; 26 – 31. Mai 2012Später am Morgen gab es mehrere Buchveröffentlichungen,vom WTT-Deutschland, von WTT-Global, realisiertvon Ramana in Indien, und vom WTT-Spanien.Am Nachmittag stellten Mitglieder vom Team des Paracelsus-Projektsseine Aktivitäten vor, um die Qualitätund Struktur des Magazins zu verbessern. Es arbeiten40 Personen im Team für die englische und deutscheVersion, und 40 Personen arbeiten für die spanischeVersion, und Mitarbeiter in Indien arbeiten fürdie indische Online-Version; insgesamt sind es 100 Mitarbeitende– eine grosse Koordinationsarbeit, um dasHeft in einem monatlichen Rhythmus in drei Sprachenzu publizieren, mit Meister Kumar als dem Chefredak-8teur. Es wurden 7 Abteilungen geschaffen, um die Arbeitzu organisieren. Das Team lancierte einen dringendenAufruf für neue Mitarbeitende.Ca. 440 Gruppenmitglieder aus verschiedenen Ländernder ganzen Welt versammelten sich in Flüeli Ranft fürdie Feier des 103. May Call Days im Westen. Flüeli istein ruhiger Ort im Herzen der Schweiz, umgeben vonBergen, ein alter Wallfahrtsort, wo in früheren Zeitender heilige Nikolaus von der Flüe lebte.Meister Kumar eröffnet das Seminar mit den Worten:"Ich empfinde eine Demut durch eure Anwesenheit unddurch eure Bereitschaft und Empfänglichkeit, von euremEngagement für das Gruppenleben, für euren spirituellenAustausch. Gruppenleben, Gruppenarbeit,Gruppen-Austausch und Gruppen-Teilen – so brechenwir die Barrieren der Trennung. Trennend ist, was dasDenkvermögen ist, Gemeinsamkeit, was vom Herzenist. Gemeinsamkeit gibt Freude, Seligkeit und Schönheitdes Lebens. Trennung kommt von Denken, dasDenkvermögen trennt. Gedanken neigen dazu, sich aufdie Umgebung zu beziehen. Leben ist in uns und Lebenist in der Umgebung. Ein natürlicher Strom ermöglichtuns, in Herzlichkeit zu leben, vom Herzen her zu hören,vom Herzen her die Bedürfnisse der Umgebungund das Leiden zu empfinden und zu schauen, was getanwerden kann. Dies bedeutet, dass der begrenzteMensch durch Geben eine Neigung entwickelt, unbegrenztzu sein. Die Natur strömt zu ihm und erfüllt dieUmgebung. Diejenigen, die dies erfahren haben, sindBeispiele für andere, dem Pfad zu folgen.“Meister Kumar, der Chefredakteur des Magazins, sagte:„Paracelsus ist ein Mitglied der Hierarchie. DieserBeitrag geschieht für das Heilen, es ist etwas Aussergewöhnliches.Alles wird in Begriffen der Medizin formuliert,doch er war ein Mystiker und ein Wissenschaftler,ein harter Arbeiter. Es ist ein grosses Privileg,sich mit dieser Arbeit zu verbinden und etwas zutun. Ich möchte euch gerne dazu einladen. Ein Magazinzu betreiben ist nicht so einfach, und es als einestille Arbeit zu machen, ist noch viel schwieriger. Esbegann als ein sehr mutiger Schritt. Es geschehen tiefeUmwandlungen bei allen, die dafür arbeiten. Sie wandelnsich mit der Zeit um. Es ist nicht so sichtbar undfühlbar, doch in einem späteren Rückblickt wird manes erkennen. Mai beschloss der Meister das fünftägige Seminarmit den Worten:„Mögen wir mit der inneren Verbindung leben, um siedurch die innere Meditationsarbeit nach aussen zubringen. Wir sind alle als eine Gruppe durch das Herzverbunden, nicht durch das Denkvermögen, auch nichtdurch das subjektive Denken. All jene, die sich mitihm verbinden, geschieht dies durch das Herz. Kommtzurück zu Herzen; es ist möglich, dort zu sein. Mögenwir Liebe ausstrahlen.“Dies war die letzte May Call Day-Feier des Meisters imWesten, zumindest für mehrere Jahre. Der kommendeMay Call wird in Tapovan, WTT-Bangalore gefeiert.mit der Unterstützung der Bruderschaft von der gesamtenspanischen Gruppe, aus der Schweiz, Indien,Deutschland, Belgien, Argentinien, den VereinigtenStaaten. Fast 250 Personen nahmen an diesem Seminarteil.9

Besuch des Hauses MontsenyDer Meister gab seinen Segen zu dem Haus, das voneiner Gruppe Menschen verwaltet wird, um der Gruppeeinen Ort zum Verweilen, zur Meditation und Studiumzu geben. Der Meister führte ein Feuerritualdurch und hielt einen Vortrag. Danach offerierte dieGruppe eine Mahlzeit für mehr als 100 Teilnehmer.Worte sehr: "... das ist der einzige authentischeDienst, alles andere ist Glamour ...."Besuch des Meisters in der Kathedrale von Barcelona"La Sagrada Familia"Besuch der WTT-Vasatha Gruppe, BarcelonaDie Gruppe von Barcelona studiert intensiv die Geheimlehre.So hielt der Meister einen Vortrag über AnniBesant und der Bedeutung des Sanskrit-Worts "Vasantha"und gestaltete Leitlinien für die Gruppe, damitsie in ihren Studien, Meditationen und DiensttätigkeitenFortschritt machen. Dieser Vortrag berührte dieGruppe tief durch die Worte des Meisters in Bezug aufMadame Blavatsky.Besuche des Meisters im Haus von Rosa und MiquelMit einigen Mitgliedern der Gruppe besuchte der Meisterdie eindrucksvolle Kathedrale von Gaudi "LaSagrada Familia". Der renommierte Architekt Gaudiwar ein gläubiger Christ, ein Mystiker und ein Kennerder Weisheit. Der Meister sagte uns, dass es eine derwenigen Kirchen ist, die der Familie gewidmet ist. Wirmeditierten in Stille in einem der Räume.Nach dem Seminar in Sant Hilari der besuchte Meisterdas Haus unserer Brüder und Freunde Miguel und Rosa.Im schönen Garten und neben der Statue von Krishnahielt der Meister einen Vortrag über Lord Krishna. Sieofferierten eine Mahlzeit für fast 100 Menschen, die zuBesuch kamen.Der Meister war interessiert an den Schönheiten, dieRosa und Miquel in ihrem Haus haben, von ihren vielenReisen zum heiligen Berg Kailash, Fotos und Detailsdieser Reisen.Besuch des Meisters bei Guter Wille in Aktion (BuenaVoluntad en Acción, BVA)BVA wurde im Jahr 1997 gegründet mit der Inspirationder Worte von Meister KPK über Dienst. In diesem Jahrbaten wir den Meister zum ersten Mal, die Institutionzu besuchen, (wir wollten ihn zuvor nie mit einer Bitteum einen Besuch belästigen, aber dieses Jahr hattenwir das Gefühl, dass wir fragen konnten), wir wolltenihm persönlich die gesamte Organisation zeigen. Wirtrafen uns mit einigen Leuten aus dem WTT, die in dereinen oder anderen Weise mitarbeiten. Nach Erläuterungaller Aktivitäten, die wir tun, um den am meistenbenachteiligten Menschen zu helfen, zeigten wir ihmdie Institution.Der Meister sprach zu uns über Dienst und bat um eineZusammenfassung der Aktivitäten, um sie in Indien zuveröffentlichen und unsere Brüder dort zu inspirieren.WTT Spanien ist seit 15 Jahren mit dem BVA verbundenund schätzte den Besuch des Meisters und seineBesuch des heiligen Bergs MontserratAn einem heissen Tag im Juni schlug der Meister vor,nach Montserrat zu fahren. Es war eine Reise auf denBerg, wo die Energien latent wurden; der Meister gingfür mehrere Stunden in tiefem Schweigen durch dieBerge. Er sagte: "Das Wichtigste ist, uns mit den Energiender feinstofflichen Welt, die einst hier waren, zuverbinden, es ist nicht notwendig, zu essen, zu trinken,nur in tiefe Stille sein, damit jene Energien zuuns kommen .... In Montserrat, in den ätherischenEbenen der Berge, gibt es einen Ashram mit verschiedenenGruppen von Dienenden, die aktiv im Dienst derHierarchie wirken." An diesem Tag haben wir nicht zuMittag essen, auch nicht der Meister. Wir verliessenden Berg am frühen Nachmittag, mit unseren Herzenvoller Dankbarkeit für den Segen, den der Meister unsgewährt hatte.Besuch der Zentrale vom WTT-SpanienAm Nachmittag gingen wir mit dem Meister zum Sitzvon WTT-Spanien. Der Meister hielt einen Vortrag über"Die Kunst des Sterbens". Es war einer der besten inSpanien gehaltenen Vorträge, sagte der Meister; beimEintritt ins Zentrum lächelte er, inspiriert von LordSiva. Asistieron miembros de diferentespartes del país además de miembros de India, Europa,Sur, Norte y Centro América.103º Festival del May Call del Maestro, Flüeli-Ranft, Suiza, Mayo26 al 31, 2012Unos 440 miembros del grupo de diversos países detodo el mundo, se congregaron en Flüeli Ranft para lacelebración del 103º May Call Day, el 25º May Call Dayen occidente. Estuvo ubicado en un lugar sereno delcentro de Suiza, rodeado de montañas- un antiguositio de peregrinación donde había vivido San Nicolásde Flüe.El Maestro Kumar inauguró el seminario con laspalabras:“Me siento honrado por vuestra presencia y porvuestra disposición y responsabilidad, por vuestrocompromiso con la vida grupal y por compartirespiritualmente. En la vida grupal, la actividad grupal,compartiendo y distribuyendo en grupo, es comorompemos las barreras de la separatividad. Laseparatividad es propia de la mente, la colectividad esdel corazón. En lo colectivo se encuentra la alegría, labienaventuranza y la belleza de la vida. Laseparatividad proviene de la mente, la mente separa.Los pensamientos tienden a relacionarnos con elentorno, con la vida en nosotros y con la vida que nosrodea.La afluencia natural nos permite vivir en cordialidad…la fuerza del corazón es desplegar, ofrecer, incluir. Noedifica barreras. Él transmite conocimiento y tiende aayudar al entorno.Vive desde el corazón, piensa desde el corazón,escucha desde el corazón, percibe desde el corazónlas necesidades, los sufrimientos del entorno y ve quése puede hacer. La atmósfera se cargó de vibraciones11espirituales cuando las llamas se elevaron y lasenergías se irradiaron por todas partes.Más tarde en la mañana, se presentaron variaspublicaciones de libros de la WTT de Alemania, de laWTT-Global, las hechas por Ramana en India y por laWTT de España.Por la tarde, los miembros del equipo del proyecto dela revista Paracelsus presentaron sus actividades paramejorar la calidad y estructura de la revista. Hay 40personas que están trabajando en el equipo de laversión en inglés y en alemán, 40 personas quetrabajan para la versión en español, y estántrabajando colaboradores en India para la versiónindia online, en total son unos 100 colaboradores – ungran trabajo de coordinación para publicar la revista aun ritmo mensual en tres idiomas, con el MaestroKumar como editor principal. Se han creado 7departamentos para organizar el trabajo. El equipoemitió un llamado urgente para pedir nuevoscolaboradores.El Maestro Kumar, el editor-en-jefe de la revista, dijo:“Paracelsus es un miembro de la Jerarquía. Lacontribución que ha hecho para curar, esextraordinaria. Todo está formulado en términosmédicos, pero él era un místico y un científico, ungran trabajador. Es un gran privilegio asociarse con sutrabajo y hacer algo. Me gustaría invitarlos. Llevaradelante una revista no es muy fácil, y que sea untrabajo silencioso es mucho más difícil. Comenzócomo un paso muy valiente. Hay profundastransformaciones en los que trabajan para ello. Setransforman a través del tiempo. No es muy visible nitangible, pero más tarde se lo reconoceretrospectivamente. La energía está con todosaquellos que colaboran con este trabajo. Cuando eléxito es duradero, nos esforzamos. La palabraesfuerzo es la palabra más querida de los círculosjerárquicos. Es un esfuerzo noble.Por lo tanto, que el trabajo continúe y se encuentrenlas fuerzas. The main goal is for thechildren to grow with strengthened human values andthat they can experience the teachings of Wisdom startingfrom the family environment and then taking them tothe daily life.Practical meetings are done one Sunday a month inwhich the kids learn to develop in contact with nature,they also do vegetable gardening, and puppets workshops,games, songs, searching for the teachings to getto them with love and joy. The practical topics arebased, always, in the spiritual teachings. At the beginningof each meeting, the kids practice a group meditation.They also chant Gayatri accompanied with musicalinstruments.During 2012, the kids revisited the fundamental conceptof understanding they are souls and they have a personalitythat allows them to function in the world. In thiscycle, the emphasis was on the solar quality of the soul,and on it’s sevenfold expression through the rays, colors,sounds, and energetic centers. DerUmgang miteinander war von Freundlichkeit, Zugewandtheitund Respekt gekennzeichnet - auch wennunterschiedliche Auffassungen im Raum standen. Daswar wirklich schön zu erleben! The group meets regularly to carry outstudies and meditations. At various places we offerguided healing meditations for patients and interestedpeople. This has been gratefully accepted and appreciated.A major theme is the hospice work. A member of thegroup is the person in charge for giving ambulant griefand mourning counseling. She even accompanies thedying people and, if needed, takes care of the bereavedfamily.For nearly 12 years, a member supervises self-helpgroups in pharmacies. It has emerged that the group"Care Meeting", which consists of family members ofAlzheimer's and dementia patients, is permanentlygrowing. These people need special assistance to copewith this difficult task. Again, the theme of "death" isof particular importance. Help with homework: A boy from the FLUMI grouphas parents who grew up in Italy and Poland. Bothparents cannot help the boy with his homework.Therefore, the boy gets help with his homework regularly.3. Reading of fairy tales: Once a month, children areread a story in the kindergarten. Then the children tellme the story as best they can. They tell which situationor person in the story was important for the children.4. Cookies for the kindergarten: On St. Nicholas Dayall the children and the teachers get self-baked SantaClaus cookies and also for Easter holiday Easter Bunnyself-baked cookies.5. Miscellaneous: Notes are glued to the front doors ofour house around noon (before St. Nicholas) that allchildren should put their clean polished shoes outsidethe door when they want a gift from Santa Claus. Poverty andsocial exclusion have become widespread amonggroups which so far had only been affected marginally.Moreover, when a family comes to ask for help theirsituation is so precarious that it requires more andmore urgent and complex attention. The profile projectedby the users has changed in such a way that,for the first time in two decades, the nationality ofmost users in the Association’s beacon programme ofthe Job Placement Workshop is now Spanish.45If people’s difficulties and needs are growing, the responseof civil society’s organizations should increaseat least in the same proportion. And that is preciselywhat is happening. The increase in members, in punctualdonations, in collaborations with businesses andin volunteers has offset the effect of the cuts in theusual finance of the Association. Last September, owingto the quality of its project, our Association washonoured to be financed since by the TV3 MarathonFoundation which allowed it to increase the number ofusers attended to, the volume of training, the quality

and quantity of the food distributed, and to contract aLabour Insertion officer to boost the possibilities ofthe users finding work.All that has resulted in the fact that in 2012, our useshave increased by 5% compared with the previousyear. It was necessary and we were able to do it. Butwe can’t be complacent about this: while our financingis secured until August 2013, we must enable ourselvesto support our project for as long as is necessary.“BUENA VOLUNTAD EN ACCIÓN” is a non-profit NGOwhich has been active in the district of Poble Sec since1997, to help promote the social and labour inclusionof people on the brink of social marginalisation. Weare a non-religious, non-partisan and independent associationand we work as part of a network of neighbourhoodorganisations with the objective of helpingthe families that are in such circumstances.We work for the inclusion of each of the persons andfamilies through individualised work schemes whichinclude, depending on the persons’ situation, participationin several of our training workshops: teaching,job placement workshop, job search techniques etc.together with the covering of the basic needs of thehome while the family is on the programme.The work programme lasts from 3 to 6 months, duringwhich time the social workers and volunteers try toprovide the family with the tools, knowledge and resourcesthat will help them overcome the circumstanceswhich first made them resort to our association.On top of these projects, which are especiallycentred to adults, there are two more projects thatare intended for two particularly vulnerable groups:children and young people. To the school support projectfor children from age 6 to 13 that we have beendeveloping for the last 10 years, a new project hasbeen added in December called Young People in Action(Jovenes en Acción), including both academic andvocational aspects for young people from age 16 to 25.This project is being carried out jointly by a neighbourAssociation (Poble Sec Per A Tothom) and Buena Voluntaden Acción.Our activities are carried out by our team of volunteersand coordinated by four salaried workers and theBoard of Directors.All our activities, which, all along 2012, representedmore than 10 000 uses and nearly 1000 families attendedto, were mainly made possible through 90people who, in a disinterested way, worked alongwith us on our projects.All along 2012, 938 first visit interviews have beenconducted with persons or families in need of help,and 555 follow-up interviews.Welcome Service and Work PlansThe Welcome service is where information, orientationand assessment are conducted.The social worker is the person in charge of attendingto all the demands, giving information, guiding towardsadequate resources or programming a secondinterview if the person can effectively be attended byBuena Voluntad in Acción.Characteristics of the persons attended to in theSocial Worker’s office in 2012It is notable that almost 60% were women; and morethan half (56%) were between 31 and 50 of age. A majoritywere people from North Africa, Latin America,the Asian continent and people of Spanish nationality.Much fewer were people from sub-Saharan Africa andfrom the rest of the European continent.As for living conditions, a majority of the individualsand families live in sublet rooms in shared flats: 42% ofthe persons attended, sublet a room in a shared flat,while 36% rent a flat or a studio.As for the ways these people come into contact withthe Association, a majority do it directly, whereas theothers are referred by the municipality’s social servicescentres (which, to note, have sent us almosttwice as many people in 2012 than the year before).Job Placement WorkshopThe JOB PLACEMENT WORKSHOP is a collective workshopwhich takes place on Monday and Thursday mornings.It a service meant to provide support in thesearch for a job, and it offers several modalities.First of all, it is a place where one can get assessmentand advice on job searching techniques, as well as onhow to improve one’s linguistic abilities in phone callsand interviews.Secondly, it offers a space where lists are put at theusers’ disposition of up-to-date job offers previouslyestablished by us using the Internet, classifieds andour own resources. In this space, the users are alsoprovided with the tools necessary such as laptops, telephones,access to their digital Curriculum Vitae,models of presentation letters and announces etc.In the last term of 2012, we were able to extend thenumber of people in the workshop to up to 35.RESULTS154 persons attended the Job Placement46

Workshop in 2012There was an average of 20 people in each session,which represents an increase of 25% in relation to theprevious year.46 people found work, which is 15 people fewer thanthe previous year, due to the present difficulty of accessingthe labour market.86 sessions were conducted, with a total of 1748 usesand 8496 teaching hours.Finally, the Job Placement Workshop also includes individualisedsessions on Thursday afternoons duringwhich the users are coached on how to use the internetto look for and respond to job offers.The profile of the people who attend the workshop isof men (40%) and women (60%) with job permits (almost80%) and aged between 31 and 50 (more than60% of the total). As for nationalities, it is notablethat in 2012 we attended the greatest number ofSpanish people ever since the Job Placement Workshopstarted (31% of the total), which is clear evidenceof the increase of situations of exclusion amongnative people.The ways of access to our Job Placement Workshophave been mainly through the Town Hall’s Social ServicesCentres (more than 44%), that is, people who,after being attended to by the municipal social services,were deemed by the corresponding social workerlikely to benefit from contact with our Association.Among all the activities organised by Buena Voluntaden Acción, the training classes are a tool of greatworth. food items and clothing and an added awareness ofcleanliness and hygiene. It includes a free weekly fooddistribution with fresh, canned and dried food productsgiven to each person or family, with free delivery.Additionally, there is the availability of clothing,household linens, personal hygiene and householdcleaning products, all of which may be delivered directlyto homes.CLOTHING SERVICEAll individuals and families receiving care in our organisationand participating in the Job Placement Workshop,Educational workshops and / or Food Servicehave access to our clothing programme. While the individualor family continues to participate in the WorkPlan established, they will have free access to ourclothing service for each member of the familyunit. At the same time we serve individuals or familiesreferred from other entities including homeless peoplewho may need clothes, shoes or any other product,such as blankets, sleeping bags or towels.This service is available every Tuesday afternoon onthe premises of the organisation and has a coordinatorand number of volunteers who manage it.Programmes for childrenMany children of the families we serve require extrasupport to reach educational goals, and this is themain objective of the Educational Reinforcement Programme,which takes place in our centre every Fridayafternoon during the school year. School Booster Theworkshop is run by volunteers who individually or insmall groups offer educational assistance. In addition,we also offer half day excursions in Barcelona duringthe month of July, also on Friday afternoons, from 17hto 20h.Finally, and as members of the Coordination of Organistionsin Poble Sec, we Nadal participated in a Solidarityat Christmas Campaign which included donatingpresents to the children who attend our EducationalReinforcement Programme as well as the younger childrenof our service users. La pobreza y la exclusión se hangeneralizado en capas de la sociedad que hasta ahorahabían quedado al margen. Y cuando una familiaacude a pedir ayuda, su situación es tan precaria querequiere una atención más urgente y máscompleja.Reflejado en los usuarios de la entidad elperfil ha cambiado tanto que, por primera vez, lanacionalidad con más usuarios del Taller de InserciónLaboral, programa motor de la entidad, ha sido laespañola. Y si las dificultades y necesidades entrenuestros vecinos y vecinas van creciendo, la respuestade la sociedad civil organizadatiene que aumentarcomo mínimo en la misma medida. Y así ha sido. Elaumento de socios, de donaciones puntuales, decolaboraciones con empresas y de personas voluntariasha permitido suplir la reducción de financiación de lasvías habituales de la entidad. La calidad del proyecto49ha sido distinguido y financiado a partir de septiembrepor la Fundación La Maratón de TV3, lo que nos hapermitido aumentar los usuarios atendidos, laformación, la calidad y cantidad de alimentos ycontractar una técnica en inserción laboral paraposibilitar que las personas usuarias encuentrentrabajo. Todo ello ha comportado que el pasado 2012en Buena Voluntad hayamos realizado un 5% más deusos que el año anterior. Todo esto era necesario y lohemos hecho. Pero no nos podemos quedar aquí.Elfinanciamiento está asegurado hasta agosto del 2013,y hace falta que entre todos hagamos posible que elproyecto siga adelante mientras sea necesario.La EntidadTodas nuestras actividades, que representan más de10.000 usos en todo el año y nos acercamos a las1.000 familias atendidas, lo hemos hechoprincipalmente gracias a 90 personas que de formadesinteresada nos acompañan voluntariamente entodos los proyectos.

Buena Voluntad en Acción es una ONG que desde 1997trabaja en el barrio del Poble Sec para la inserciónsocial y laboral de personas en situación o riesgo deexclusión social. Somos una asociación laica,apartidista e independiente que trabajamos en redcon el resto de agentes del barrio con el objetivo demejorar la situación de las familias en estascircunstancias.Trabajamos para la inserción de cada una de laspersonas y familias usuarias a través de planes detrabajo individualizados, que incluyen, dependiendode las circunstancias personales, la participación envarios de nuestros talleres de formación instrumental,ocupacional y laboral, talleres de búsqueda activa detrabajo, así como la cobertura de las necesidadesbásicas del hogar mientras dura el proceso.Los planes de trabajo tienen una duración máxima deentre 3 y 6 meses, tiempo en el que se intenta dotar ala familia de las herramientas, conocimientos yrecursos necesarios para conseguir superar la situaciónde dificultad que los había hecho recurrir a nuestraentidad. A estos proyectos destinados sobre todo a laspersones adultas, se suman dos proyectos destinados acolectivos especialmente vulnerables, que son losniños y los jóvenes.Al refuerzo escolar para niños y niñas de 6 a 13 años,proyecto que realizamos desde hace más de 10 años,se ha añadido como novedad durante el mes dediciembre el proyecto Jóvenes en Acción, deorientación formativa y laboral para jóvenes de 16 a25 años, que llevamos a cabo entre la entidad vecinaPoble Sec per a Tothom y Buena Voluntad en Acción.Nuestras actividades las llevan a cabo un equipo depersonas voluntarias y son coordinadas por cuatrotrabajadoras y la Junta Directiva.Acogida y Planes de TrabajoEl servicio de Acogida es el espacio de información,orientación y asesoramiento de Buena Voluntad enAcción.La trabajadora social es la persona encargada deatender todas las demandas, dar la información,orientar a los recursos adecuados, o programar unasegunda entrevista si el caso sí puede ser atendido porBVA.Características de las personas atendidas en elServicio de AcogidaSobre las características de laspersonas atendidas en elpunto de Acogida, destacar que casi el 60% de laspersonas atendidas eran mujeres; y en cuanto a lasedades, más de la mitad de las personas que hansolicitado orientación en el servicio de acogida (el 56%),tienen entre 31y 50 años. Según la zona deprocedencia, en primer lugar, personas de la zona delMagreb, después personas de América Latina, en tercerlugar procedentes del continente asiático y, después,personas de nacionalidad española. En unarepresentación muy inferior encontramos las personasprocedentes de África Subsahariana y del continenteeuropeo. En cuanto a las condiciones de vivienda, elporcentaje más significativo es el que representan laspersonas y familias que realquilan habitaciones en unpiso compartido. El 42% de las personas atendidas sonpersonas que realquilan habitaciones, mientras que un36% alquilan un piso o un estudio.En cuánto a las víasde acceso a la entidad, la mayor parte de las personasatendidas llegan a la entidad por acceso directo, si bienlas personas derivadas de los Centros de ServiciosSociales son la segunda vía de acceso y ésta se haduplicado prácticamente respecto de la del año pasado.Taller de Inserción LaboralEl Taller de Inserción Laboral es un servicio que serealiza los lunes y los jueves por la mañana yen grupo.Es un servicio de acompañamiento y apoyo en labúsqueda de trabajo, que cuenta, a la vez, con variosespacios.En primer lugar, es un espacio de asesoramientosobretécnicas de búsqueda de trabajo, aspectos paramejorar las llamadas de teléfono y las entrevistas.En segundo lugar, el espacio propiamente de búsquedadonde ponemos al alcance de los y las usuarias lasofertas del día que, previamente, hemos buscadoen Internet y en los periódicos o a través de la bolsade trabajo propia, así como también facilitamos lasherramientas para la búsqueda (correo electrónico,teléfono para concertar entrevistas, elaboración ycopias de currículums y cartas de presentación).Por último el taller de inserción laboral incluye unservicio los jueves por la tarde a nivel individualizado.El último trimestre del 2012, hemos podido ampliarlas plazas de taller laboral hasta 35 persones comomáximo en el taller.A lo largo del año 2012, en el servicio de Acogidahemos realizado 938 primeras atenciones a personeso familias que necesitaban ayuda y555 de seguimiento.RESULTADOS:• 154 personas asistieron al Taller de InserciónLaboral durante el año 2012.• Hubo una media de 20 personas en el Taller, quesignifica un aumento del 25% respecto al añoanterior.• 46 personas encontraron trabajo, que significa undescenso de 15 personas insertadas respecto alaño anterior, debido a las dificultades de accesoal mercado laboral actual.• Se han realizado 86 sesiones con 1748 usos totalesy 3496 horas lectivas.50

El perfil de las personas atendidas en el taller laborales de hombres y mujeres (40% los primeros, y 60% lassegundas), con permiso de trabajo (casi el 80%) y deedades entre 31 y 50 años (más del 60% del total). Encuanto a las nacionalidades, destacar que este añohemos atendido al mayor número de personas denacionalidad española desde que existe el tallerlaboral (31% del total), muestra sin duda del aumentode situaciones de riesgo de exclusión social entre laspersonas autóctonas.decir, personas atendidas por los servicios socialesmunicipales, que después de ser valorados por elprofesional correspondiente, considera que estapersona o familia podría ser atendido en nuestraentidad y conseguir mejorar su situación de dificultad.Dentro de las actividades de BVA, los cursos deformación son una herramienta de gran valor. En total: 213 usos y 426 horas formativas.Profesora: 1 persona voluntaria.Necesidades BásicasAlimentación e HigieneEl servicio de cobertura de las necesidades básicas setrata de un servicio que se ofrece a las personas ofamilias que atraviesan un momento de fragilidadeconómica grave y que no los permite poder hacersecargo de los gastos que generan cubrir la necesidad dealimentación, la necesidad del vestir, y la necesidadde limpieza e higiene. Este servicio incluye el repartogratuito y semanal de un lote de alimentos frescos ysecos envasados de primera necesidad a cada personao familia; la entrega gratuita y semanal de artículosde vestir y de ropa para el hogar; y la entrega gratuitay semanal de artículos de limpieza personal, del hogary otros artículos de primera necesidad.RESULTADOS:Se han atendido 239 familias en un total de 391 usosfamiliares del ropero, repartiéndose 2.642 piezas deropa en 36 sesiones.martes por la tarde en el local de la entidad y cuentacon una serie de voluntarias que lo gestionan,y unacoordinadora.Actividades para Niños/asMuchos de los niños de las familias que atendemos,requieren de algún tipo de apoyo extra para lograr losobjetivos a la escuela, y este es el principal objetivodel taller de Refuerzo Escolar, que tiene lugar ennuestro local todos los viernes por la tarde durante elperiodo escolar. El taller de Refuerzo Escolar lo llevana cabo voluntarios y voluntarias que individualmente oen pequeños grupos ayudan a hacer los deberes a losmás pequeños. Además del Refuerzo, tambiénofrecemos un Casal de Verano durante el mes de Julio,también los viernes por la tarde, de las 17h a las 20h.Por último, y como miembros de la Coordinadora deEntidades del Poble Sec, participamos en la CampañaNadal Solidari y, tanto los alumnos del RefuerzoEscolar, como los hijos más pequeños de nuestrosusuarios, un total de 85 niños de Buena Voluntad enAcción han recibido regalos de los Reyes Magos, lamadrugada del día 6 de Enero del 2012.Resultados:Refuerzo Escolar: 32 sesiones de 1 hora y media. 44niños usuarios y una media de 20 por sesión.641 usos y 962 horas formativas.Casal de verano: 4 sesiones de 3 horas. 21 niñosinscritos y 17 asistentes de media. 68 usos totales y204 horas disfrutadas.Voluntariado y personalVoluntariado:El voluntariado es la esencia de Buena Voluntad enAcción. Todas las actividades se basan en lacolaboración de los voluntarios y voluntarias, y serealizan con su participación y colaboración.Servicio de RoperoAl servicio de ropero tienen acceso las personas yfamilias que están siendo atendidas en nuestra entidady que participan en el Taller de Inserción Laboral,talleres formativos y/o servicio de Alimentación.Mientras la persona o familia participa del Plan deTrabajo establecido, todas las personas que losoliciten, tendrán acceso libre y gratuito a nuestroservicio de ropero para cada uno de los miembros dela unidad familiar. A la vez, en el Servicio de Ropero,atendemos a personas o familias derivadas de otrasentidades con esta demanda concreta y, de manerapuntual, a personas sin hogar que necesitan ropa,calzado o cualquier otro producto, como mantas,sacos de dormir o toallas. We work ondocuments from Annie Besant and Alice Bailey as well.The notebook compilation of different texts aboutDEATH and REINCARNATION is also a great tool for us.However, we not only work on texts concerningDEATH; we understand DEATH and its preparation as atranscendental task along our life and therefore it includesworking on aspects like BREATHING, CON-SCIENCE, PREPARATION FOR SLEEP, etc.Every time we meet it is the turn of a different memberof the group to take along and expose the previouslychosen and agreed text. Ideas and doubts areshared and new steps into knowledge are taken. It isvery important to leave some time to share individualprogress concerning DEATH in our daily life.When somebody is interested in joining the group,he/she is given some representative text about thesubject so that the person can decide wether he/shefeels close to them or not.
