siguiente 15 de Octubre lo hizo en<br />
Maracaibo nuevamente con Cardenales<br />
de Laras. Ganador de 2 Series<br />
del Caribe en 1.984-Sn Juan Puerto<br />
Rico; en1.989 y en Mazatlán México.<br />
Se dice que su nombre Águilas se<br />
le atribuye al Padre Manolo al cual<br />
le sugirieron un nombre mientras se<br />
tomaba unas cervezas Zulia, marca<br />
que portaba un Águila, surgiendo<br />
así el nombre que lleva hoy en día<br />
el equipo. La mascota del equipo<br />
“Agui” es la favorita de niños y adultos<br />
