Norte del Club.

se completaron
cinco pruebas.
Luego de las
regatas, se realizó
una entrega de
premios en el
edificio Corna
Badaracco. Los

The second date of the internal championship had optimal conditions and a very special camaraderie weather.
One of the most entertaining
competences of our Club is the
Argentine Yacht Club Championship,
of which the second date was disputed
on Saturday 2 June.
As usual, the day started early, with the
traditional breakfast in the Social Building for
the crew members of the 23 boats enrolled in
the ORC Club, ORC Sportboard, Doubles Crew,
Reduced Crew and Classic Vessels Formulas.
Then, the competitors departed towards the
regatta race course, prepared in front of the
port of Buenos Aires.
With excellent sailing conditions –it started
with 16 knots wind from the South-southwest
and decreased to 14 knots and little wave– the
test comprised a fixed marks journey of 9,7
nautical miles.
To highlight, our Fjord VI, steered by Jorge
Jáuregui, participated with several young men
that represented the Club on the next New
York Yacht Club event: Eugenia JassonHardie,
Rocío Álvarez Gallesio, Carlos Tortonese, Dante
Cervi, Iñaki Arroyo, Ezequiel Cousillas and
Emiliana López.
After the test, the classic third time was
performed, followed by the awards celebration
in an excellent camaraderie environment and in
which, besides, recognitions were given to the
youngest participants.
