PUNTA SIERRA WIND PROJECT BEGAN ITS TEST PERIOD
During October 2018, the Environmental Assessment Service granted the environmental approval to four solar photovoltaic projects, totaling 29
MW.
Also, four other NCRE projects were admitted to environmental permit process during this month, totaling 127 MW
In the Exempt Resolution Nº 694 of October 23, 2018, published by the National Energy Commission - CNE, seven NCRE projects -totaling 110.8
MW- were declared in construction, five of which are of solar PV technology (81.8 MW) and two of run-of-river mini hydro technology (29 MW).
In addition, the same document announced that four NCRE projects began their test period, totaling 94.4 MW, of which the Punta Sierra Wind
project of Pacific Hydro (80 MW) must be pointed out.
