For the CoupleDo• Greet and thank your guests at the reception– they came to see you!• Check the laws of your state and plan to get yourmarriage license well before your actual wedding day.• Supply food for your wedding vendors(wedding director, florist, band, etc.).• Say goodbye/thank you to both sets of parents at theend of the evening.• Send invitations to close friends and family, even ifyou know they can’t come – this will make them feelincluded and appreciated.Don’t• Post to social media to announce your engagementbefore calling family and close friends.• Invite someone to your bridal shower, but not the wedding.• Wait 8-12 months before sending thank you notes.• Include your registry information on your wedding invitation.For the GuestsDo• Return your RSVP as soon as possible!
