SAFETY - Fig. 7 to 12
English
Fig. 7 – PREFER USE OF THE HP CLEANER'S FLEXIBLE EXTENSION CORD TO AN
EXTENSION CORD REEL!
An extension cord reel with under-dimensioned electrical cable sections results in overheating of
the motor: All the more if the cable is left coiled on the reel!
Should it be necessary to use an extension cord, be sure to unwind the cable
completely and that the latter's features are at least as follows:
Minimum cross section of the wires: 2.5
mm².
Maximum length of the cable: 15 m.
 Earthing pin OBLIGATORY.
 WATERPROOF socket.
Fig. 8 – NEVER USE damaged or badly connected cables.
Fig. 9 – Before starting up or before the first use, check that your electrical wiring complies
with safety standards and that the voltage of the electrical supply network is the same as the
one specified on the data plate of the device. Your product is protected against electric shock in
compliance with the standards of CLASS I.
Minimum requirements: 215 to 230V / 50 Hz - 20 A - Differential of 30mA /
30ms.
The product is equipped with an asynchronous motor which generates an amperage peak at
start-up: It is hence necessary that your electrical wiring is able to "absorb" this peak.
Should your electrical network need to be adapted, have it done by a specialist, in
compliance with the latest specifications and standards.
It is recommended that the electric supply to the cleaner should include a residual
current device that will interrupt the supply if the leakage current to earth exceeds
30mA for 30ms.
Fig. 10 & 11 – The electrical equipment of the device is protected from water sprays. It is
however not recommended to use the device in the rain or to direct the water jet towards the
HP cleaner (water under pressure penetrates more easily): Risk of electric shock!
Fig. 12 – NEVER ROLL OVER OR GO OVER THE HP HOSE WITH "HEAVY" OBJECTS :
The internal metal braiding of the HP hose would be damaged and could break due to
the pressure...
FURTHER RECOMMENDATIONS :
NEVER pull on the electric cable of the device or its HP hose to move the device.
Never use the device if the high pressure hose is damaged.
