Check on a regular basis the state of the water filter which is inside the quick coupling of
the pump inlet: A simple grain of sand can result in valve breakdown (symptoms: pressure loss
and vibration in the HP hose) or By-pass breakdown.

The VIRAX HP Cleaner is fitted with a RADIAL pump whose 3 CERAMIC
PISTONS are activated by a crank-shaft system.
The pump casing contains the oil enabling the lubrication of the moving
parts by splash lubrication (no loss, contrary to an automobile).
The brass cylinder head of the pump head houses the admission valves
(Low pressure: caps located at the bottom) and the exhaust valves (High Pressure: caps located
at the top).
IT IS NECESSARY TO CHANGE THE OIL A FIRST TIME AFTER 50 hrs OF USE.
RECOMMENDED OIL TYPE: MINERAL 15 W 40 (never use synthetic oil!)
The By-pass is a vital component of your HP Cleaner:
Not only does it ensure management of water at high pressure (mainly by
regulating the pressure �) but also the AUTOMATIC SHUTDOWN OF THE
MOTOR by a a pressure switch (housing�shown on picture opposite) coupled
to its piston.
NEVER USE THE DEVICE IN "JOLTS" by pressing and releasing the
trigger of the gun in fast succesion: This damages the by-pass and results in
its premature wear!

• Unscrew the filler cap (fig. A).
• Unscrew the drain plug (fig. B).
• Drain all the oil into a tray (window fig. C).
NEVER DISCARD THE OIL OR THE WASTE WATER INTO THE ENVIRONMENT!

� Fill up oil by the filler cap (fig. A):
OIL QUANTITY = 0.30 l.
� Check the level at the window (fig. B):
THE LEVEL MUST BE IN THE MIDDLE!
A surplus of oil would damage the pump (EXCESSIVE PRESSURE).
