S e curity<br />
For the safety and the security of all guests, please familiarize yourself with the floor plan displayed at the<br />
back of the guest room door, showing exits and a detailed procedure in the unlikely event of an emergency.<br />
Please familiarize yourself with the security procedures in this directory for your guidance.<br />
E m e r g e ncy Exits<br />
Please familiarise yourself with the emergency exits on your floor as well as the Emergency Exit plan on the back of the<br />
guest room door. In the event of an emergency, please proceed calmly to the nearest emergency exit. Please note that<br />
the elevators will not be in use during an emergency situation.<br />
E m e r g e ncy F i r e P r ocedur e s<br />
We would like to offer the following suggestions for your safety in the unlikely event of an emergency. Please review<br />
the location of exits, alarms and fire equipment on your floor plan, displayed behind the guest room door.<br />
In case of fire<br />
• Remain calm<br />
• Stay low in smoke-filled areas.<br />
• Press the Emergency button on your telephone.<br />
• Exit the room and close the door.<br />
• Do not use the quest lifts.<br />
• Proceed to the nearest staircase and walk down until vou exit the building.<br />
If the fire is outside your room<br />
• We advise you to stay in your room until further instructions are given from the Hotel's crisis response team.<br />
• Press the Emergency button to let the Hotel Management know your location.<br />
If you decide to leave your room<br />
• Check the door handle and frame for heat. If they are not hot, open the door carefully, keeping as low as you can.<br />
• Proceed to the nearest fire exit, leave the building and go to the hotel's designated evacuation area.<br />
If the door is hot<br />
• Stay in your room and keep the door shut.<br />
• Turn off the air conditioner.<br />
• Fill the bathtub with water so that you have water supply.<br />
• Place wet towels along the bottom of the door and over any vents where there is smoke.<br />
• Stay as low as you can and most importantly, stay calm.<br />

Your key card is programed especially for you upon your arrival. Please ensure to carry it with you at all times until your departure.<br />
Should you misplace your card or need an additional one, please visit the Front Desk at the lobby.<br />
Lif t<br />
Our lifts are designed for your security and safety. <strong>Guest</strong>s must use their keycard for floor access when using the lift.<br />
Please refrain from assisting those without such keycard from accessing the guest floors.<br />
Fire, Life and Safety<br />
<strong>Conrad</strong> <strong>Manila</strong> has one of the most advanced fire, life and safety systems available, including smoke detectors,<br />
an extensive sprinkler network and an evacuation program developed by professionals.<br />
A professionally trained team is on standby in the unlikely event of an emergency.<br />
V aluables<br />
For your protection and convenience, we provide a safety deposit box in the closet of your guest room and at the Front Desk.<br />
The hotel will not be held responsible for any loss or damages to the property of its guest.<br />
Privacy<br />
Should you wish not to be disturbed, simply turn on the "Do Not Disturb" light and double lock your door.<br />
A safety latch and door-view port are also provided for added security.
