In celebration of Women's Month, 

we proudly present "Of Art & Wine: 

Breaking the Glass Canvas" a group 

art exhibit that pays homage to the 

achievements and artistic prowess 

of women. This exhibition stands as 

a testament to the power of women 

in the art world, continuously 

redefining artistic boundaries. With 

a diverse range of styles, 

techniques, and perspectives, these 

talented artists inspire the future 

generation to dream big and 

dismantle the glass ceiling, or in this 

case - the invisible glass canvas. 

"Breaking the Glass Canvas" encapsulates the spirit of 

empowerment, focusing on the countless stories of resilience 

and triumph that women experience in each of their careers. 

Each artwork on display serves as a powerful representation of 

the artist's unique style and identity. From bold and vibrant 

abstract paintings to intricate sculptures, this exhibition 

captivates the tapestry of artistic styles and mastery. One of 

the goals for this show is to inspire future generations of 

artists, encouraging them to pursue their passions fearlessly 

and unapologetically. 

Our featured female artists - Lydia Velasco, Anita Del Rosario, 

Addie Cukingnan, Flor Baradi, Meneline Wong, Lara Latosa, 

Celeste Lecaroz, Helena, and Irish Galon - all in one show to 

celebrate women everywhere and encourage each one to 

embrace their individuality. Curated by Nestor Jardin and Lara 

Latosa, we invite you to embark on a journey of discovery and 

empowerment. Join us in celebrating the extraordinary talent 

of these female artists as they showcase their unique styles 

and mastery of the artistic craft.

LARA LATOSA 

Lara Latosa, an artist from San Pedro, Laguna. 

Known for her captivating abstract waves, Lara is 

not only an exceptional artist but also a dedicated 

environmental advocate, particularly the ocean. 

She is also the co-organizer of Conrad's 2024 all 

women's art exhibit. 

In the spirit of Women's Month, Lara shares a 

valuable message, especially for those navigating 

male-dominated industries: "Build a foundation 

based on passion first. In pursuing art or any 

endeavor, genuine passion becomes your 

unwavering source of motivation. With passion as 

your guide, neither money nor fame will hinder 

the joy you find in your craft."

MENELINE WONG M.D. 

Dr. Meneline Wong, a talented artist from Quezon 

City, well-celebrated for her fluid and 

mesmerizing abstract work. 

In 2018, she made history as the first woman to 

clinch a major award in the GSIS National Art 

Competition, showcasing her undeniable skill and 

creativity. 

In the spirit of Women's Month, Dr. Wong imparts 

a profound message: "Life has its ups and downs, 

and it's these challenges that forge our resilience 

over time. Each struggle becomes a stepping 

stone, empowering us to overcome the next 

hurdle. Embrace the journey, as our resilience is a

ADDIE CUKINGNAN 

Addie Cukingnan, a visual artist most known for 

her signature bold and radiant florals, a vibrant 

celebration of the timeless beauty of nature. 

With 25 years of experience in the art industry, 

she is also a gallery owner, and has served on the 

National Commission of Culture and the Arts with 

a dedication to preserve and promote Philippine 

art and heritage sites. 

In the spirit of Women’s Month, Addie celebrates 

God’s exquisite design manifest in the brilliance 

of women excelling in diverse fields. “God 

created women and imbued them with the unique 

gifts of resilience, intelligence, and compassion. 

As we celebrate their accomplishments, we honor

from Daet, Camarines Norte. Helena has made a

CELESTE LECAROZ 

Celeste Lecaroz' abstract realisms are a symphony 

of colors that echo the beauty and diversity of the 

Filipino culture. Her works paying homage to Juan 

Luna's early works in Italy and one from his piece 

España y Filipinas. 

"I wish to call for a ceasefire in Gaza and all places 

where women’s and other vulnerable group’s rights 

and dignity are trampled upon. Ultimately a 

dialogue, no matter how difficult or seemingly 

impossible it is to, I believe is the answer, and
