PJ01 / Mine Étienne-Méguhé Localisation : lit du marigot Etienne Horizon 1 [0-120 mrn] : Terre végétale Commentaire : noir, riche en racines végétales Texture ; argilo-sableuse Composition : nombreux grains de quartz et importante fraction argileuse Horizon 2 [120-500 mm] : Argile sableux Commentaire : brun-noire, moins riche en matière végétale Rares galets aux contours +/- arrondis. Texture : argiio-sableuse Composition : nombreux grains de quartz, mais fraction argileuse plus abondante que l'horizon sus-jacent. Quelques galets de quartz Horizon 3 [500-750 mm] ; Gravier très argileux Commentaire : brun-orange, avec importante fraction grossière à débris souvent arrondis (véritables galets), mais aussi une importante fraction argileuse Texture : gravelleuse Composition : blocs et cailloux polygeniques souvents arrondis de quartz, de tourmalinite et rares feldspaths. Quelques grosses paillettes de muscovite. Horizon 4 [750-930] : Gravier argileux Commentaire : beige-orangé, moins argileux que l'horizon sus-jacent, blocs et cailloux aux contours plus ou moins anguleux Texture : gravelleuse Composition : blocs et cailloux polygeniques de quartz, tourmalinite et micaschiste. Abondance de grosses paillettes de muscovite. Horizon 5 [930-1200 mm] : Bed-rock (pegmatite +tourmalinite + micaschiste) Commentaire : jaune-beige, très peu argileux, blocs et cailloux aux contours parfaitement anguleux. Direction de la pegmatite : N102 (NG), Direction du micashiste : N 34 (NG) Texture : gravelleuse Composition : blocs et cailloux polygeniques de pegmatite (quartz, feldspaths, tourmaline, muscovite), tourmalinite et micaschistes. Pegmatite dominante.
