Belle épreuve sur vergé fort, bien venue au tirage, probablement <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong> première édition, sans le montage,<br />
comme souvent. Trace <strong>de</strong> pli, à peine visible au recto, dans l’angle inférieur gauche, et plusieurs<br />
taches grisâtres dans le sujet. Publié par André en 1803, dans <strong>la</strong> première suite <strong>de</strong> Specimens<br />
of Polyautography, cette estampe fit l’objet d’un second tirage par Vollweiler en 1806. Ex-coll. Ha<strong>la</strong>scz<br />
(sans marque).<br />
