Risk of injury!
During installation, pay attention to components that have sharp
edges. Risk of injury!
Use a stable stepladder for installation.
Hazards for children and persons with restricted physical,
sensory or mental faculties!
This appliance is not intended to be used by persons (including
children) with restricted physical, sensory or mental faculties or
lack of experience and / or knowledge, unless they are supervised
by a responsible person, with regard to safety or have received
instructions from them as to how to use the appliance.
Children should be supervised to make sure that they do not play
with the appliance.
Risk of ire!
Clearance between the surface of the cooking location and the
lower edge of the extraction hood must be a minimum of 65 cm for
electric and gas cookers. However, it is also imperative to observe
the instruction manual for your gas cooker! If a greater clearance is
speciied there, this must be taken into consideration.
Do not lambé below the extraction hood! There is a risk of ire.
Deep-fat frying below the extraction hood is permitted, but only
if constantly supervised.
Keep your extraction hood clean. Grease deposits can ignite by
extreme heat.
Always pull the plug out before cleaning the extraction hood or
changing the ilters. If the plug is not easily accessible, disconnect the
power supply using the recently installed switch (see “Accessibility of
power supply”, page 9).
Risk of burns!
Components of the appliance that can be contacted can become hot
when using cooking utensils.
Caution!
To ensure full capacity of the extraction hood when in use, it must be
installed in the centre of the cooking area.
Tasks on the electrical installations must only be carried out by
an authorized specialist. If an additional socket is required for the
appliance, commission a specialist electrical irm.
Before drilling holes for wall installation, make sure that there are no
lines routed in the wall that can be damaged (power, gas, water etc.)
(use a line detection device to check the respective area).
Important!
If you carry out repairs yourself, if connections are incorrect or by
incorrect operation, liability and warranty claims are excluded.
