Care and maintenance
Danger!
Before cleaning the extraction hood, disconnect the mains plug. If the
plug is not easily accessible, disconnect the power supply using the
recently installed switch (see “Accessibility of power supply”, page 9).
Grease deposits on the extraction hood can ignite in cases of extreme
heat. It is therefore important that the surfaces of the extraction hood
be cleaned regularly.
Use a soft, moist cloth with a little washing-up liquid to wipe the surfaces. The
glass can be cleaned using commercial glass cleaner. Do not use sharp objects or
scouring powder, because the surfaces might be damaged.
Cleaning the grease ilter (extraction and circulating air mode)
Danger!
Grease deposits on the grease ilter can ignite in cases of extreme
heat. It is therefore important that the grease ilter be replaced
regularly.
• Clean the grease ilters at least once a month in the dishwasher (up to 65°C)
or warm soapy water.
• Place the grease ilter vertical in the dishwasher for cleaning in order to avoid
food scraps and residue collecting on it.
• Only replace the grease ilters when they are completely dry.
• Handle the grease ilters carefully, so that the ine mesh does not bend or
kink.
1. Pull the plug out or disconnect the power supply using the recently installed
switch (see “Accessibility of power supply”, page 9).
2. Push the lock on the grease ilter backwards and remove the
grease ilter carefully downwards.
3. Wash the grease ilter in the dishwasher or in the sink as
normal crockery.
4. Reinsert the grease ilter in the rear recesses once it is
completely dry.
5. Push the lock downwards and press the grease ilter into the
holder. Release the lock and the grease ilter clicks into place.
6. Restore the power supply.
