Sustainable<br />
TECNOGEN’s commitment for sustainable development<br />
is represented by the choice to produce power generators<br />
that burn alternative and renewable fuels, such as vegetal<br />
oil, methane and biogas. In the new plant located<br />
in Piacenza, TECNOGEN developed a new innovative<br />
methane cogeneration system which produces<br />
electricity and heat. Waste heat is thus recycled for the<br />
productive process and for air-conditioning. The quality of our<br />
future will largely depend on whether the productive system<br />
will be able to optimize the available energy and reduce by a<br />
signifi cant amount its environmental impact.<br />
