6 Handling/Operation<br />
6.1 Set-up/Assembly<br />
Make sure that there is enough space at the assembly area for a proper use and<br />
maintenance.<br />
Carry the appliance exclusively lifting it at the bottom side.<br />
Do not assemble the appliance near heat sources (heating appliances, stoves or<br />
other).<br />
Make sure that the air circulation area on the engine is not covered.<br />
Carry the appliance exclusively horizontally.<br />
To level unevenesses in the assembly area:<br />
Screw the appliance feet in or unscrew them.<br />
6.2 First use<br />
First cleaning<br />
Clean the appliance before connecting it to the the mains (see Cleaning).<br />
Connect the appliance<br />
Danger<br />
Life danger due to mains voltage!<br />
Make sure that the voltage and frequency of the mains correspond<br />
to the values specified in the rating plate.<br />
Connect the line cord exclusively to a socket with ground wire.<br />
Do not use an extension cable or a multiple socket adapter to connect<br />
the appliance.<br />
Make sure that the line cord is not damaged.<br />
When connecting the appliance to a socket without ground wire:<br />
Ask qualified personnel to install the appliance.<br />
Insert the plug in the socket.<br />
The installation of the appliance is completed.<br />
