“The Balenciaga and Haute Couture in Barcelona” è una retrospettiva che si terrà fino al 22 settembre 2013 al Museo Cristòbal Balenciaga di Barcellona. Obiettivo è dimostrare, con 78 modelli, tra cui alcuni del grande stilista, e 50 bozzetti, come la straordinaria couture dell’indimenticabile maestro spagnolo abbia in primis influenzato, non solo Parigi e i grandi nomi del fashion system di ieri e di oggi, ma soprattutto i designer spagnoli del suo tempo, totalmente avvinti da un talento multiforme come un’Idra. D’altronde, come prescindere dalla potenza geometrica e possente dei suoi modelli così eccitantemente nuovi nel panorama della moda? Tra il 1935 e il 1968, con Balenciaga di stanza a Barcellona, nomi come Pedro Rodríguez, Manuel Pertegaz, Asunción Bastida, El Dique Flotante e Santa Eulalia videro in lui una Stella Polare. E lo stesso vale oggi per tanti giovanissimi creatori. / “The Balenciaga and Haute Couture in Barcelona” is the exhibition that can be visited until the 22nd of September 2013 at the Museum Cristobal Balenciaga in Barcelona. The goal is to show with 78 models and 50 sketches how the extraordinary couture by the unforgettable Spanish master has influenced Paris and the big names of the fashion system and above all the Spanish designers of his time that were captivated by a multiforms talent like an Idra. How to recognize his models with their geometric and strong power in the fashion panorama? Between the 1935 and 1968 with Balenciaga in Barcelona names like Pedro Rodríguez, Manuel Pertegaz, Asunción Bastida, El Dique Flotane and Santa Eulalia saw a polar star. It is the same today for many young creators.

Al FIT Museum di New York è andata in scena lo scorso<br />
mese di aprile una mostra davvero straordinaria che, per<br />
la gioia di tutte le shoes-addicted, ha raccolto ben 150<br />
creazioni dei designer più famosi e celebrati del 21esimo<br />
secolo, come Salvatore Ferragamo e Christian Louboutin,<br />
per raccontare le trasformazioni sociali e culturali che ha<br />
subito negli anni il mondo della calzatura. Il pezzo cult<br />
della mostra, oltre alle famose Manolo Blahnik indossate<br />
dalla mitica Sarah Jessica Parker in “Sex and the City”,<br />
anche le scarpe più stravaganti del mondo, tra cui le “Lady<br />
Pointe”del giapponese Noritaka Tatehana, alte 45 cm e<br />
adorate da Lady Gaga per la loro straordinaria allure fetish.<br />

The last April at the FIT Museum in New<br />
York an extraordinary exhibition was<br />
inaugurated for the happiness of the all<br />
shoes-addicted. It involves 150 creations<br />
of the most famous and celebrated designers<br />
of the XXI century like Salvatore<br />
Ferragamo and Christian Louboutin to tell<br />
about the social and cultural transformations<br />
that the shoe world went through<br />
the years. Besides the famous Manolo<br />
Blahnik’s shoes worn by Sarah Jessica<br />
Parker in “Sex and the City”. There are<br />
the most extravagant shoes of the world<br />
like the ‘’Lady Pointe’’ by the Japanise<br />
Noritaka Tatehana high 45 cm and much<br />
