priority species in the national action plan for the Amphibians of 1996, propose a certain
number of long-term strategy : protection of the populations and the sites, reduction of
the anthropic threats, improvement of the knowledge of its ecology, communication and
awareness of the public and the whole of the actors concerned. These long-term
objectives are declined in specific objectives over the 5 years duration of the action plan:
protection of the sites and the individuals, management and restoration of the habitats,
follow-ups of the populations and the sites, improvement of knowledge of the species in
Corse, communication towards the general public and the local actors. For each one of its
specific objectives, concrete measures to be implemented directly on the sites and to the
actors concerned are proposed and are declined in three themes: actions of protection of
the sites and the species, actions of knowledge of the sites and the species and actions of
communication and sensitizing. These actions are for the majority transversals with all
the sites but some declined more specifically on sites of main interest defined on
quantitative criteria of population. These actions are presented in the form of index cards
specifying their priority, their contents, their programming over the 5 years of the plan
and financial estimate of their implementation over the duration of the plan.
